TOULOUSE, France, Nov 29, 2009 (AFP) - France international striker Andre-Pierre Gignac could miss the Europa League visit of Partizan Belgrade after suffering an ankle sprain, his club Toulouse said Sunday.
Toulouse beat Boulogne 1-0 in the league Saturday, but during Sunday's training session coach Alain Casanova said Gignac was "doubtful" for Thursday's encounter.
Ahead of the penultimate round of group games in Europe's second-tier club competition Toulouse sit third in Group J with only four points from four matches.
Partizan prop up the table with no points, Shakhtar Donetsk sit top on 12 and Club Brugge are second on seven.
