LISBON, Dec 21, 2009 (AFP) - Portuguese first division side Belenenses have sacked their coach Joao Carlos Pereira.
"I confirm my exit from Belennses," Pereira, who had been under contract until 2011, told the Lusa news agency on Monday.
Belenenses lost 1-0 to Uniao Leiria on Sunday and are currently 14th in the Portuguese league with 10 points.
