WARSAW, Feb 6, 2010 (AFP) - UEFA chief Michel Platini on Saturday ridiculed suggestions that the sacking of England captain John Terry would overshadow the looming draw for Euro 2012.

Pressed repeatedly by British reporters on the Terry sex scandal dominating headlines there, Platini finally snapped: "I really couldn't give a toss. It's your problem in England. What do you want me to say?"

England's Italian manager Fabio Capello fired Terry on Friday after an alleged affair with the ex-girlfriend of team-mate Wayne Bridge.

Capello is among the managers due in the Polish capital on Sunday for the draw for the Euro 2012 qualifiers, hosted jointly by Poland and neighbouring Ukraine.

"It's not just England who are going to be drawn tomorrow. There are 52 other national associations who have an interest in this competition," Platini said.

"Everyone has their own concerns, Poland, Ukraine, England, Cyprus, Norway, Malta. At the end of the day, that only interests their own little world, and not necessarily everyone else.

"You have some funny problems in England," the former French international said, with a Gallic shrug.

"But luckily you have an Italian to sort out all your problems," he added, laughing.
