Injured Cech out of Czech squad for Scotland friendly

PRAGUE, Feb 25, 2010 (AFP) - Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is out of the Czech Republic team for next week's friendly in Scotland after being carried off the pitch with a calf injury in Wednesday's Champions League game at Inter Milan.

Czech head coach Michal Bilek said on Thursday he had nominated one newcomer for the game at Glasgow's Hampden Park on March 3 -- Bundesliga Schalke's 20-year-old midfielder Jan Moravek.

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky also figured in the squad.

Both teams will clash again in the Euro 2012 qualifier campaign which has brought them together in Group I along with defending champions Spain, Lithuania and Liechtenstein.
