Well, we are finally about to set our website free and bring it live to the masses. I am looking at WSN’s launch right in the eyes and I am not backing down. Everyone at WSN headquarters is working harder than we ever imagined we could, and are happy to say that we will have a tremendous product to show everyone.

Yesterday, we finally installed a tv with a satellite feed at the office, and the triumverate of CNBC, NBA TV and World Football coverage is helping to keep us all sane. One starry eyed look at Erin Burnett talking about mergers and acquisitions could make any young entrepreneur happy. My third Starbucks run of the day, this time for a triple espresso, isn’t hurting my energy levels either.

The WSN Championship, our site wide fantasy betting competition, will be the most advanced game of its kind anywhere is Asia. Besides being great fun, it should really show who the most knowledgeable world football fans around the globe are. We will compile consensus picks and league and team expert picks from the WSN Championship, allowing us to pin the sharpest bettors versus the consensus of the masses and finally see who really is smarter. Of course, all of our users will be able to use this information themselves to try and win the WSN Championship or one of our Friendly Challenges.

After making the website open to the public, the first thing I am going to do is challenge Mr. Charles Hanson Gillespie (our CEO) to a duel in a Friendly Challenge. I say the winner buys the loser almond croissants from Paul (my new favorite French Bakery in Shanghai) for one week. I will be certain to update the status of this competition as it develops. My strategy for winning is simple, pick whatever games Filippo tells me to (and bribe him into giving Charles bad advice). Filippo is the newest addition to the WSN team, and is a certified football and sports betting expert. Among other things, he will be writing articles for us on the site, so you too will be able to check out his advice and analysis.
