Strong WSN Coverage in Digitial Media Magazine
Published by Charles | Filed under Digital Media
The four page cover story from Digitial Media Magazine‘s February 2008 issue offers an overview of the issues surrounding the promotion of iGaming throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The positive story includes interviews from the region’s key people in gaming related interactive media including Jason Chan of Macom and myself. I found the story to be an informative and accurate description of the current state of iGaming related interactive media across the region.
In addition to including several quotes from myself about the industry, the story describes WSN:
As a small start-up company, WSN.com is putting a lot of chips on its viral marketing plan. It views its site as essentially a community of gamblers, so in addition to search engine optimisation, it has many ‘invite friends’ and ‘connect with friends’ programmes to encourage people to share the site. Since WSN.com isn’t strictly a gambling site – all winnings are in the form of prizes such as iPods or PlayStation consoles – it has a global reach not bound by domestic regulations.
You can read the article online at Digitial Media Magazine‘s website here, High Stakes, High Prizes. Or you can download a PDF version of the magazine version of the story from us here, High Stakes, High Prizes -PDF (296KB).
