Update on WSN & UNC

Appologies to the maddening throngs of readers who have been without blog WSN updates over the past few weeks. There appears to be an inverse relationship between WSN business and blog post frequency. We have been extremely busy with traffic having doubled month on month on month. If we keep this trend up, we will be the biggest website on the internet in about a year and a half. Here’s hoping!

In other news, NCAA Men’s basketball player of the year Tyler Hansbrough along with Wayne Ellington, Danny Green and Ty Lawson will all be returning to UNC for the 2008-2009 men’s basketball season. The latter trio had declared for the NBA draft but pulled out on the last day opting to shoot for another UNC national championship instead. ESPN’s Andy Katz has labeled the returning UNC team the consensus #1 team in the land adding that the Tar Heels might go “wire-to-wire” as the no. 1 team.

I know many of you NBA crazy readers don’t care about the youngins in the NCAA. Well these kids have passion and are the next crop of NBA stars so have a little bit of respect. When WSN launches NBA coverage at the beginning of the 2008-09 season, we might just add in odds and stats for college games as well. Hey, somebody has to bring NCAA action to the middle kingdom.
