John Terry Runs Over Security Guard
Published by adam | Filed under Football (aka soccer), Miscellaneous

Terry in a rage, first runs down the Refs and then runs down a security guard. Are we safe?
Well Terry has done it again. After his spell on the pitch in protest against the refs, he leaves Stanford Bridge and runs over a poor security guard only trying to help Terry avoid paparazzi. Okay, in reality this is stupid news, but we love every chance to scrutinize people that take advantage of their situation.
Terry explained to the cops that he did not feel anything at the time of the incident. The first reports were that of a broken leg for Steve Rowley, Chelsea’s deputy security manager. Rowley, later and probably still in pain, gave the following statement…
“It is badly bruised. John was quickly in contact with me once he realized what had happened and there’s no bad feeling at all on my part. It wasn’t his fault at all, it was a complete accident.”
Hmmm. I am sure it would have been an accident if he ran over, let’s say, a photographer.
Anyways the security guard sustained relatively minor injuries for having been run over by a Land Rover. Terry was breathalyzed upon arriving to his house.
If I were the victim I would think twice about asking Terry to come over to meet my wife and kids. This is a potential marketing force and campaign for Land Rover. You can run people over and not even feel it, much less not get in trouble for it.
Land Rover… Making Hit and Runs Possible. Gotta love it
