Here is a classic video of 12 year old Fernando Torres (no. 9) playing for the Atletico Madrid youth team and absolutely dominating. El Niño shined and scored twice in this match against the youth team of AC Milan. Recently, the striker’s lack of form is painstakingly evident since his time at Chelsea. It is now safe to say that John Terry scores more than Torres. People actually cheered for him back then. He knew how to foul and knew how to rock the bowl cut.

For a bit of history, Torres grew up through the ranks of the Atletico Madrid Youth Squad before making it off to Liverpool in 2007. El Niño spent 12 whole years with the team that taught him everything. 2001 saw his debut with the Atletico first team, while the striker scored 75 goals in 174 La Liga appearances. Since his premiere, he has not looked back; well, except after joining Chelsea.


The £50 million man, at age 27, had an abysmal start to his Chelsea campaign, unable to find the back of the net in 903 minutes of football.
