Nike release the new 2011/12 FC Porto home and away kits (Video)

Nike released yet another classic combo for Portuguese Liga and Europa League Champions FC Porto. The new 2011/12 Porto home kit, as modelled by Hulk and company, retains the classic look of the blue and white vertical stripes. The new home kit features a new white collar. Porto’s new dark blue away 2011/12 kit is an instant hit, which contains two purple and light blue overlapping zig zags on the front. To top things off the Dragões or Dragons came out in Star Wars Emperor Palpatine costumes. On display were footballers Hulk, João Moutinho, Rolando, James and Helton.
Porto splits the sponsorship between the home and away strips with Meo the sponsors of the new home jersey, while TMN for the away kit. All kits are made from 14 recycled plastic bottles. Really like these.
FC Porto will sport the kits this summer in the UEFA Super Cup clash with FC Barcelona on August 26th in Monaco.
