If you are looking to win some bonus bets betting on hockey Sunday, bet365 has you covered. When you sign up for a new bet365 account, they will let you choose from one of two welcome bonuses.

The first is a $1,000 first bet safety net. That means that bet365 will refund your initial bet of up to $1,000 in bonus bets. For example, if you bet $300 on the Senators moneyline, you will receive $300 in bonus bet if the wager loses. If the Sens win, you won’t receive any bonus bets, but you will keep your winnings.

The second option allows you to claim $150 in bonus bets when you place an initial wager of $5. Unlike the safety net offer, you’ll receive the bets regardless of the wager's outcome. While the $1,000 safety net is appealing, this option is better for those not looking to place a considerable opening bet.

If you are looking to capitalize on one of these great offers from bet365, we have you covered. You can take advantage of either bonus by following these simple steps:

  1. Click our bet365 promo code to visit the bet365 Sportsbook

  2. Click on the “Join” button and create your account

  3. Deposit at least $10

  4. Select which promo you would like to use

  5. Place your initial wager

Remember that bonus bets are not eligible to be withdrawn for cash. They may only be used to wager on the sportsbook, but you will keep the winnings minus the bonus bet

Betting Tips for Lightning vs Senators

The Tampa offense has been as good as it has ever been. They scored five times in a win against Nashville but four in a thrilling loss against an improved Detroit team. Steven Stamkos has been fantastic, with two goals and an assist last night.

The biggest question revolves around goaltending. Andrei Vasilevskiy is sidelined with an injury, and Jonas Johansson has underwhelmed through his first two games. He has allowed eight goals, five of which came in last night’s loss. That means Matt Tomkins may be in goal today, which would be good news for a very dangerous Ottawa offense.

The Sens come into Sunday after winning their home opener on Saturday. There is a lot to like about this team when they are healthy. They have a ton of scoring power, with ten players registering a point through their first two games. They scored eight goals and are still without Shane Pinto and Josh Norris. Norris could return tonight, which would give them yet another goal scorer.

The question for Ottawa once again remains around their defense. They gave up five goals against the Canes in the home opener, including three in the third period. The blue line is healthy, with Artem Zub, Thomas Chabot, and Jacob Chychrub all on the ice. The questions revolve more around goaltending. Anton Forsberg looked sharp against the Flyers yesterday, but Joonas Korpisalo fell apart late in the home opener. It is worth checking which one will be between the pipes tonight.

Betting Tips for Hurricanes vs Ducks

Carolina came into the season as a favorite to win the Stanley Cup, and they looked the part in their home opener. They beat a good Ottawa team in a close game, with five players scoring a goal. This is an incredibly balanced Canes team, and they showed it again last night with a 6-5 shoot-out win over the Kings.

If there is one cause for concern early, it is that the team gave up leads in both games. Last night, the Canes led 5-3 with ten minutes left in the game but gave up two goals to eventually force the game into shots. While they came out on top of both games, it will be something to watch today, especially after a thrilling game the night before.

The Ducks’ season started rough last night, losing 4-1 against the Golden Knights. While the team is once again ranked among the worst in the league, they have an exciting young core of players in Trevor Zegras, Mason McTavish, and Troy Terry. That gives some offensive firepower, but they will be challenged by a Canes team that can be solid on the defensive end.

While it seems silly to take the Ducks against a great Carolina team, there is a reason to take a look at the moneyline. The Canes have allowed eight goals through their first two games. The game will be the Ducks’ home opener, which will be the best home-ice advantage they’ll have all year. They could pull off an impressive early-season upset if their young stars get hot.
