The 49ers have scored 30+ points in each game this season and will be taking on a Browns offense that looks like it’ll be without Deshaun Watson. Below are the odds and some betting tips for this matchup.
Team | Spread | Money Line | Over/Under |
Cleveland Browns | +9.5 (-110) | +375 | Over 36 (-110) |
San Francisco 49ers | -9.5 (-110) | -500 | Under 36 (-110) |
Without Deshaun Watson in the lineup, the Browns will turn things over to the recently acquired P.J. Walker. With that, it’s difficult to find a path in which they score meaningful points against this ferocious 49ers defense that held the Dallas Cowboys to just 10 in Week 5. As for the 49ers, they’re facing a tough Browns pass rush with Za’Darius Smith and Myles Garrett. We could see the 49ers slow down on the 30 points per game here, but we have limited confidence in the Browns scoring much of anything with Walker under center against this defense.
In the battle for last place in the NFC North, the Vikings head out on the road, Justin Jefferson-less, against a somewhat surging Bears offense.
Team | Spread | Money Line | Over/Under |
Chicago Bears | +3 (-115) | +125 | Over 44 (-110) |
Minnesota Vikings | -3 (-110) | -150 | Under 44 (-110) |
Without Jefferson in the lineup, wide receiver K.J. Osborn will see significantly more playing time, starting opposite Jordan Addison, with Brandon Powell manning the slot position. They also still have tight end T.J. Hockenson.
The Vikings defense has been a weak point, and they’ll have to slow down a running Justin Fields as well as wide receiver D.J. Moore, who’s coming off a 200+ yard, three-touchdown game in Week 5.
Still, the Vikings receivers have some favorable matchups, including Addison and Osborn, when they match up with Kyler Gordon and Hockenson against linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.
Viking quarterback Kirk Cousins has put up numbers this season, and it’ll give their unimpressive rushing offense a chance to get it going here.
