Coming out of the bye week, the Chargers will certainly hope to get some production from their cornerback group with the departure of J.C. Jackson. Right now, it’s looking like Asante Samuel Jr. and Michael Davis will start on the outside.
Unfortunately for the Chargers, Davis has struggled mightily this season, making him a liability for the Chargers defense against the numerous Cowboys receivers. He’s allowed 23 catches on 32 targets for 286 yards and touchdowns. Against a combination of CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Brandin Cooks, this will be a problem. The Chargers must also find ways to fend off Micah Parson and DeMarcus Lawrence off the edge.
We like the Cowboys to win this one after a brutal loss.
