Astros vs. Rangers Betting Tips

Heading into this road matchup, Urquidy is 3-3 on the year with a 5.29 ERA. However, he’s allowed nine earned runs over his last five starts. Over his last four starts, the number drops to four earned runs. He’s allowed five home runs over his last five games, too.

His 1.5 HR/9 on the season could prove problematic against a Rangers team that ranks third in baseball with 1.44 home runs per game.

For Heaney, he’s 10-6 on the year with a 4.15 ERA. At home, he’s slightly better with a 7-3 record, 4.06 ERA, and a 9.6 K/9 compared to an 8.7 K/9 on the road.

Heaney also has a 1.4 HR/9 and the Astros average 1.4 home runs per game.

The Rangers have the pitching edge here, as Heaney has allowed just one earned run over his last five starts and no home runs.
