MLB Playoffs - October 11 - Best Bet

This Wednesday's slate of games looks to be some of the closest and most entertaining postseason matchups, according to FanDuel SportsBook. The two games that could be an elimination for two teams are the Houston Astros at the Minnesota Twins and the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The first game of the Wednesday slate is set to feature the Atlanta Braves at the Philadelphia Phillies, with the series tied 1-1. While the Phillies are set to start Aaron Nola at pitcher, it is not known who will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta. The Phillies (-124) are coming into game three as the favorites, according to FanDuel.

The Astros are up 2-1 in the series versus the Twins, with the fourth game being played at Minneapolis. The winners of the three previous matchups have scored in the first inning, so the winner of this game could be decided as early as the first inning. Minnesota will have the edge in pitching matchup and the home-field advantage. FanDuel has the Twins favored to win (-126).

The Diamondbacks could shock the baseball world and sweep their rivals in the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-0 on Wednesday. Arizona has dominated the series thanks to their impressive set of runs in the first innings. The Diamondbacks will have the home-field advantage, the momentum of a 2-0 series lead, and the pitching matchup, yet the Dodgers (-146) are favorites to win game three, according to FanDuel.
