Top Picks for eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series – Bristol Motor Speedway

William Byron

Don’t pay too much attention to Byron’s results.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver crashed out of round 1 and finished seventh in round 2.

Despite this, Byron has been one of the fastest drivers in the series, as shown by his 80 laps led at Texas.

Thanks to his experience with iRacing, the third year Cup Series driver is one of the favorites once again entering the Bristol weekend.

He is the only driver to have started both races from the first row, with a second-place at Homestead and a pole at Texas.

Byron has a best finish of 16th at the colosseum in four Cup Series starts.

Timmy Hill

Another fairly experienced sim racer, the journeyman scored an impressive victory last time out at Texas.

Hill bumped William Byron for the win during the final lap, adding another virtual trophy to his other 673.

The MBM Motorsports driver had already scored a solid third place the previous weekend at Homestead.

Bristol is an attrition-heavy race, so Hill could be in line for a payback from Byron.

If he manages to cross the line relatively unscratched, then the Xfinity Series regular will definitely be fighting for the race win.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Junior had another solid race, following up on his runner-up finish at Homestead with a sixth-place at Texas.

One of the most experienced simraces in the field, the former Cup Series star is a very good pick for this weekend yet again.

Junior started the Texas race from the pole, but an early brush with the wall dropped him towards the back of the pack.

A former winner at Bristol in the Cup Series, Junior has a good chance of adding a win at the virtual colosseum.

Garrett Smithley

The Cup Series rookie has been one of the surprises in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series.

Smithley has two top 5 finishes in two starts, a fifth-place from the pole at Homestead and a third-place at Texas.

The Rick Ware Racing driver has made over a thousand starts on iRacing, and that experience will certainly help his cause.

Smithley has two top 20 finishes in eight Xfinity starts at the colosseum as his best results.
