England Continues to Warm Up for the World Cup

On Friday, England was visiting Holland in Amsterdam and won 1-0 against a weak Dutch national team.

England's goal was scored by United player Jesse Lingard, who squeezed in to get his place in the World Cup squad.

England will meet Belgium, Panama and Tunisia in the group stage of the World Cup, and it looks like it won’t be a difficult task for them.

If, as expected, they pass the group stage with flying colours, they will meet a team from group H consisting of Poland, Senegal, Colombia and Japan.

Italy Looking to Build a New Team

Italy disappointed everyone in their playoff matches against Sweden and missed its chance to join the list of teams going to the World Cup. Needless to say, it’s been a disastrous ordeal for the proud land of football, but they have to move on and focus on building a new Italian national team.

Even though veteran players like Gianluigi Buffon, Leonardo Bonucci and Antonio Candreva are still in the squad, players like Daniele Rugani, Marco Verratti, Andrea Belotti and Lorenzo Insigne may well prove to be the stars of the future national team.

Luigi Di Biagio is the new national coach and the former U21 manager has immediately made it clear what he would like to see from the national team players. Tired of the lazy training culture, he wants to change it as soon as possible.

He also says that he will change the starting squad for the match against Argentina and hinted that Jorginho and Marco Parolo will start at the midfield while Lorenzo Insigne starts in the attack.
