How Underdog Pick'em Works

Underdog Pick'em is a daily fantasy contest where you evaluate individual player stat lines instead of drafting a full roster.

How to Play

Select between 2 and 8 player stat targets across any sport or team. For each selection, decide whether the player finishes Higher or Lower than the projected line.

• 2-Pick Entry Standard Payout: A correct 2-pick entry pays up to 3x your entry amount.

• Flex Options: Entries of 3+ picks offer Flex options that return a reduced payout if one selection misses. Standard entries require every pick to hit.

Worked Example

Here is an illustrative 2-pick entry for tonight's match (lines shown are examples, not posted projections):

1. Selection 1: Eduardo Mustre Torres (Puebla) - Higher than 0.5 Shots on Target

2. Selection 2: Kevin Velasco (Puebla) - Higher than 1.5 Shots

A $10 entry returns $30 at a 3x multiplier if both picks hit ($20 net profit). If either pick misses, the standard entry loses.

Puebla vs. León - Players in the Spotlight

Puebla sit 9th with 14 points (4 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses) and a -1 goal difference, and arrive on a three-match winless run after a 1-0 loss to Tigres in Jornada 10. León sit 5th with 17 points (5 wins, 2 draws, 3 losses) and a +3 goal difference after a 2-1 win over FC Juárez. DraftKings lists León at +140, Puebla at +190 and the draw at +225, which places León as the road favorite.

Puebla

• Eduardo Mustre Torres: Puebla's leading scorer has 3 goals in 355 minutes this Apertura, with 4 of his 9 shots on target. His efficiency makes shots on target his central Pick'em stat.

• Kevin Velasco: Velasco leads Puebla's creative output with 18 chances created and 20 shots across 587 minutes. His shot volume gives his shot lines a high floor.

• Juan Pablo Vargas and Facundo Almada: The center-back pairing anchors a defense that has allowed 12 goals in 10 matches, and their clearance and tackle totals rise against a León side pushing for the top four.

León

• Attacking unit: León have scored more goals than Puebla this tournament and win on the road more often, so their forwards' shot totals are the main stat lines to track on the visiting side.

• Points race: A León win moves them level with leaders Toluca and América on 20 points, which raises the stakes for their front line.
