How Underdog Pick'em Works

Underdog's core game mode is Pick'em, where you select higher or lower ("More" or "Less") on individual player stat lines provided by Underdog. You combine anywhere from 2 to 8 player picks across one or multiple games into a single entry slip.

To payout, entries must feature players from at least two different teams. Underdog offers two main entry options:

• Standard Entries: All picks in your slip must be correct to win.

• Flex Entries: Allows you to earn a payout even if one of your picks drops.

Worked Example Walk-Through:

Suppose you build a standard 2-pick entry for Canucks vs. Islanders:

1. Select More than 2.5 Shots on Goal for Vancouver's Elias Pettersson.

2. Select More than 28.5 Goalie Saves for New York's Ilya Sorokin.

If you wager $10 on this 2-pick Standard Entry and both Pettersson and Sorokin hit their targets, a standard 2-pick entry pays 3× your stake, returning $30 ($20 net profit + your $10 entry back).

Canucks vs. Islanders - Players in the Spotlight

This matchup features intriguing statistical storylines on both sides of the ice:

• Elias Pettersson (Vancouver Canucks): Pettersson remains the focal point of Vancouver's top-six forward group. He frequently paces the team in offensive usage and on-ice puck possession, consistently firing 3+ shots on goal in high-tempo road matchups.
• Filip Hronek (Vancouver Canucks): Anchoring the blue line, Hronek plays heavy top-pairing minutes. His offensive involvement from the point makes him a primary source for assists and blocked shots.
• Mathew Barzal (New York Islanders): Barzal operates as the primary playmaker for the Islanders' top forward line. His zone-entry metrics and ice time consistently afford him high point and assist production potential at home.
• Ilya Sorokin (New York Islanders): Sorokin regularly faces high shot volume when facing top-tier Western Conference opponents, giving him consistent opportunities to accumulate high save totals at UBS Arena.
