NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Cooper Flagg, Paolo Banchero & More Picks for Monday, March 23
The NBA is back in session on Monday, and I’ve picked five of my favorite player props for the day’s action.
Karl-Anthony Towns stayed hot with 26 points and 16 rebounds as the New York Knicks blew out the Washington Wizards, while Ayo Dosunmu starred as the Minnesota Timberwolves upset the Boston Celtics on the road.
Today’s schedule is stuffed with enticing matchups, including the Los Angeles Lakers against the Detroit Pistons, as well as the San Antonio Spurs against the Miami Heat.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Monday, March 23.

Duncan Robinson Under 2.5 Threes (+100) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Robinson went under in four of his last five games and in nine of his last 12, despite shooting 42.4 percent from beyond the arc. He also went 1-4 from beyond the arc in 28 minutes when these teams faced off on Dec. 30.
The Los Angeles Lakers have several players who aren’t known for their defense, namely, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, yet they allowed the fewest made threes per game in the NBA over the last few weeks. With Cade Cunningham out of the lineup and less creation for the Pistons players, I see Robinson going under this number.

Paolo Banchero Over 23.5 Points (-130) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Taking the over on interior-focused players never seems to be a bad idea whenever they are taking on the Indiana Pacers, whose lack of size and presence makes them vulnerable on the glass and in the painted area. Banchero helped prove that in his previous matchups with Indy, scoring 28 and 29 points, both times shooting at least 50 percent from the field.
Banchero went under in three of his last four games, but he had a solid month overall, averaging 24.3 points on 49.2 percent shooting. The Pacers allowed the second-most points per game in the league over the last few weeks, and I think Banchero has had a solid chance to cash this line.

Andrew Wiggins Over 4.5 Rebounds (-106) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Wiggins went over this line in eight of his last 10 games while averaging 5.1 rebounds per game for the year. He and his Heat teammates are getting a tough test with Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, but I believe that he will actually put more of a focus on the glass because of Wemby.
Wiggins grabbed six rebounds in his only previous matchup with the Spurs this season all the way back on Oct. 30. This will be his first game back in the lineup, and he should have plenty of energy to get down and dirty on the boards.

Cooper Flagg Under 21.5 Points (-118) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Flagg went under this line in eight of his last 10 games and only shot 40.8 percent from the field and 17.2 percent from three in March. The Golden State Warriors ranked 21st in points allowed per game over their last 15 outings, but Flagg simply hasn’t been shooting the ball well.
Flagg scored 21 and 27 points in his last two matchups with the Warriors. Even still, Flagg appears to be in a slump on the offensive end, and he’s being asked to handle a lot of the creative responsibilities without having much talent around him.

Amen Thompson Over 7.5 Rebounds (-144) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Thompson is one of the best wing rebounders in the NBA, averaging 7.9 boards per game and containing serious explosiveness that helps him come down with rebounds that most players his size would never even try to get. He had at least 11 rebounds in four of his last five games and averaged 7.9 rebounds per game for the year.
The Chicago Bulls play at a rapid pace, thereby creating more possessions and rebounding opportunities, so it’s no surprise they allowed the third-most boards per game over the last few weeks. Thompson only had five rebounds in 42 minutes in the lone matchup between these teams this season, but I don’t take that as a sign of what is to come.
