There’s a standalone stage in the NBA Playoffs on Saturday as the Philadelphia 76ers prepare to battle the Boston Celtics in Game 7, and I picked my best player prop bets from the impending matchup.
Joel Embiid and the Sixers battled to force a Game 7 by dominating Game 6 on their home floor. They now head back to Boston, where they won by 16 points in a potential closeout in Game 5.
A win for Philly would mark the first 3-1 comeback since the 2020 Western Conference first-round playoffs. The Celtics are -8.5 favorites, but this series has been anything but predictable.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for 76ers vs. Celtics Game 7 on Saturday.

White had a pretty terrible season on offense, although the Celtics’ general cohesiveness, defensive tenacity, and the impressive ascension of Jaylen Brown helped mask that. He hit new lows in this series, failing to score more than 11 points all series and only averaging 8.7 points per game on 31/26/89 shooting splits.
Here’s where I’m at: White only needs to make three or four shots to get over this number. For as bad as he’s been in this series, and despite him having a down year overall, I have a hard time believing that he isn't capable of getting to the over.

I love Maxey, and for good reason. He just became the NBA’s all-time leader in point guards with playoff games with at least 30 points scored and no turnovers at the ripe age of 25, and he went over in four of six games in this series.
The deciding factor in my betting the under was Embiid’s presence on the floor. The Sixers play a slower brand of basketball with him on the court, and he vacuums in a ton of shooting opportunities that would’ve gone to Maxey otherwise. The Celtics also love to slow the pace down, which will only be taken to a new level at home in Game 7.

This line is simply too low. Tatum might’ve split the over/under at an even three games each, but he averaged 3.2 made threes per game on 36.5 percent shooting, and all three of his overs came in the four most recent games in the series.
The 76ers gave up the most made threes per game in the entire playoffs, and if I’m right about the pace of play slowing down, that will lead to lots of late-in-the-shot-clock heaves from beyond the arc, also known as Tatum’s favorite shot. Put the ball in the hands of your best players in the biggest moments.

Oubre Jr. is going to play a ton of minutes tonight if he can avoid foul trouble and an injury. Teams shorten their rotations in elimination games, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see most of Philly’s starters get at least 40 minutes of burn.
The 30-year-old swingman stepped up his game and effort on the glass in the series, grabbing 6.2 rebounds per game and hitting the over in four of six games. The Celtics love the three-ball and will create the opportunity for long rebounds, which is why I’m backing the over.

Pritchard averaged 5.2 assists per game during the regular season and went over in all but one game in this series, averaging 4.8 assists for the six-game battle. That might beg the question “Why take his under?” Allow me to explain this 76ers vs. Celtics player prop…
As I’ve said a plethora of times, Game 7s are their own, strange entity. They involve slow movement where players get tight and more shots are missed than usual, and I don’t think either team will be very efficient. Fewer made shots means fewer dimes for Pritchard, and I could see him finishing with just one or two assists.
