Underdog Predict is Underdog’s take on prediction market trading, launched in partnership with Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA). Orders route through CDNA’s infrastructure, which operates as a CFTC-regulated exchange in the United States. That means trading takes place within a federally supervised framework rather than in a gray offshore corner of the internet.

In this Underdog Predict review, we’ll cover what markets you can trade, how pricing and fees hit your bankroll, and how the app stacks up against the competition.

Expert's Opinion: Ultimately, this is a straightforward and highly accessible welcome offer. Because it only requires a small $5 entry to secure the full $50 bonus, it provides a great opportunity to explore the prediction market side of the platform without having to risk a large upfront investment.

Underdog Predict User Experience

Underdog Predict is folded into the main Underdog hub, not offered as a separate app or standalone site. It runs through the same Underdog platform as the brand’s core fantasy products, so Predict shows up right alongside Pick’em, Champions, and Drafts, depending on what’s live in your state.

For now, Predict is limited to the mobile app and is not available on desktop or mobile browsers. If you want to trade from your phone, you’ll use the main Underdog Sports app, not a dedicated Predict download.

Mobile Apps

Underground Predict Mobile App

On the Underdog Sports app, Predict shows up as Team Picks, and it’s not given the same real estate as Champions or Originals. Those two get their own icons in the bottom navigation bar, while Predict doesn’t. You have to reach it from the upper menu, which makes it feel more like a secondary feature than a core product.

Up top, the Underdog Predict app scrolls through sports in a horizontal strip, but not everything you see there is tradable inside Team Picks. The eSports category is a good example. It shows up in the header even though those markets are tied to Pick’em and not available for Predict.

Once you’re in an available sport, you will find Match Winner, Point Differential, and Total Points contracts. You’ll also see a liquidity indicator with a flame icon, which is a quick way to spot where trading activity is heavier.

Tap a specific game, and you’ll get more ways to trade, including player stat-style markets. Using the arrows, you can move a target number up or down. If an NBA total of 241.5 is trading at 44¢ for Higher, pushing that line to 242.5 drops the purchase price and boosts your potential ROI on the Higher contract, while increasing the upfront cost for the Lower contract because you’re making the Higher outcome statistically tougher to hit.

You’ll also get an activity chart that tracks recent trades, with options to view the last hour or zoom out to all time.

Once you select a contract, it drops into your order slip at the bottom. You can set your order size, view your total contract value and estimated ROI, and pull up a short market rundown through the info icon.

After submitting it, your position shows up in the Live tab. From there, you can add more exposure through Reuse Pick or get out early using Cash Out.

Underdog doesn’t offer an order book, so you can’t see a live list of bids and asks. It also doesn’t support resting orders, so you can’t set a target price and wait for the market to come to you. You’re taking the price on the screen when you hit "Submit."

  • Expert's Opinion: If you’ve already spent time on Underdog, Predict is pretty easy to figure out. If you’re brand new to the app, plan on a brief learning curve. Prediction markets take a little context on their own, and when they’re built into a multi-product hub, it can take a minute to grasp the navigation.
  • The weak spot is execution control. Without resting orders, you can’t park a price and wait for a fill. You have to take what’s on the screen, which trims down strategy and makes it feel closer to instant wagering than real market trading.

Underdog Predict Markets Available

Underdog Predict Betting

Underdog Predict offers trading across the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, college football, soccer, and tennis. The FAQ and the support team also say more leagues are coming as the product expands.

Each sport includes a solid mix of markets, with Total Points, Point Differentials, and Match Winner contracts showing up across the board.

In prediction-only states like Idaho, Washington, and Maine, Underdog also offers Prediction Player Picks focused on individual player outcomes, such as Rushing Yards or Anytime Touchdowns.

If you’d rather zoom out past a single matchup, Prediction Futures shifts the focus to season-level results. You’ll see contracts tied to championship winners across major sports and soccer, plus division and conference winners.

Multi-team prediction picks let you bundle up to four selections into a single entry. Each one has to come from a different sport and a different game. Underdog also lets you mix prediction market positions with fantasy picks in the same entry, which is a strong crossover option if you're already using the fantasy side.

Beyond sports prediction market events, Underdog runs Culture Markets, which cover non-sporting events like the Grammys and Oscars, along with politics, economic outcomes, business events, and crypto prices.

  • Expert's Opinion: Underdog Predict has improved by leaps and bounds since the first time I checked it out about two months ago. The market variety is way stronger now, and it has added more sports, expanded futures, brought in player stat markets, and launched the full non-sports culture division.
  • What really separates Underdog for me is the crossover between products. I can mix prediction market positions with fantasy picks in the same entry, which opens up combinations I cannot build anywhere else. It makes the app more versatile than most of its direct competition.

Underdog Predict Banking & Fees

Underdog uses a separate wallet structure for Predict, so the banking rules aren’t identical to what you’re used to on the fantasy side. Even if you already have an Underdog account, there are differences in how deposits and withdrawals are handled for Predict.

The list of payment options for Predict is also more limited compared to the fantasy product.

Luckily, Underdog doesn’t charge banking fees on Predict transactions, unlike most prediction market platforms that add extra costs on deposits or cashouts.

Underdog Trading Fees

On Underdog Predict, you’re buying whole contracts, not fractions. That means your dollar amount may not match up perfectly with what gets filled. The system rounds to the nearest whole contract.

Underdog charges a flat $0.02 fee per contract, and that is built into your entry when you buy. There’s no additional charge when you sell or cash out.

So, if you purchase 100 contracts, you’re paying $2 in exchange fees, no matter the contract prices. That makes it easy to know your cost upfront and eliminates surprises at exit.

For comparison, Kalshi operates under a different fee structure altogether, using a variable model in which fees depend on price and position size. Costs tend to be higher around the 50-cent range and lower near the extremes. Trading expenses can also shift from market to market.

The difference shows up over multiple trades. On Underdog, you’re only paying when you buy. If you close early, there’s no second fee. On Kalshi, each execution can carry a fee, meaning both entry and exit may cost you if you’re taking liquidity. For active traders who move in and out frequently, Underdog’s flat buy fee can simplify things and, in certain scenarios, reduce total costs.

That said, for larger volume traders or positions far from the 50-cent range, Kalshi’s effective cost per dollar at risk can come in lower. It also differentiates between maker and taker orders, which gives experienced traders a way to manage fees by placing limit orders that rest on the book. Underdog’s flat model doesn’t provide that flexibility, but it does offer predictability.

Which model works better depends on how you trade. If you want consistent entry costs with no exit fee, Underdog Predict is easy to map out. If you’re optimizing around price levels and order types, Kalshi may offer more room to fine-tune expenses.

Underdog Predict Deposits & Withdrawals

Underdog Predict Withdrawal

To fund your Underdog Predict account, you can use Apple Pay (debit only) or Trustly. Venmo, credit cards, and PayPal are available on the broader Underdog platform, but they aren’t supported for Predict deposits.

Withdrawals offer a bit more range. You can cash out through Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, Trustly, or Paysafe. Processing times are up to 72 hours.

The minimum withdrawal amount is $10, and there are no fees on cashouts.

For added security, you’ll need to confirm your withdrawal through a link sent to your email within ten minutes. If you don’t do it in time, the request is automatically canceled.

MethodTypeSpeedMinimumFees

TrustlyDeposit and withdrawalInstant$10Free
VenmoWithdrawalUp to 72 hours$10Free

  • Expert’s Opinion: The no-fee banking policy is a quiet strength here. You move money in and out, and there’s no haircut along the way. In this space, that’s not something you can take for granted.
  • The deposit method selection is trimmed down, but it doesn’t look like a long-term limitation. Underdog already supports more options across its platform, and Predict just hasn’t caught up yet.
  • I like the flat fee trading model. You pay once when you enter the position, and there is no additional charge when you close it. That makes the cost structure simple and easier to manage over time. If I’m trading high volume or working tight price ranges, Polymarket or Kalshi can still be cheaper on paper, but Predict’s pricing is more predictable for everyday use.

Underdog Predict Customer Support

Underdog Predict customer support is available through email (support@underdogfantasy.com) and via live chat in the app.

The live chat opens with an AI bot, but you are not stuck there. You can ask to be routed to a human agent if the issue is account-specific or needs a real person to step in.

There is also a comprehensive FAQ with a dedicated Predict section that breaks down the markets offered and explains how the contracts work in plain terms, which makes it a useful first stop before you reach out.

  • Expert’s Opinion: I reached out to Underdog Predict support twice to see what the response time looks like at opposite ends of the day. At about 6 p.m., I asked whether there was a desktop platform and got a reply right away. At about 7 a.m., I messaged with a question about trading fees and waited roughly 25 minutes before I was connected.
  • The timing isn’t perfectly consistent, but the support quality is. Once an agent is on the thread, they don’t rush you off the chat or toss a generic answer at you. They work the question, explain it clearly, and stick with it until it’s resolved.
  • If Underdog added phone support, it would be the missing piece. Email and chat cover most situations, but a call option would be helpful for time-sensitive or account-related issues.

Underdog Predict Final Verdict

A few months ago, I would have called Underdog Predict a work in progress and left it at that. It felt early, light on options, and it was tough to justify putting it in the same tier as the best US prediction market platforms. That version is gone.

The biggest progress shows up in market depth. The addition of player stat contracts has made the daily slate more usable, and the expansion into Culture markets has given the platform relevance beyond whatever games are on that night. Those additions changed the product's tone.

Kalshi is still my benchmark for overall market variety, but Underdog is closing in. The next move is filling in the quieter parts of the calendar with more niche options, the stuff that keeps traders engaged when the big leagues are off, such as chess, motorsports, and similar inventory.

Even if Kalshi stays ahead on sheer volume, Underdog Predict has a unique advantage. It lets you combine fantasy entries with prediction market positions in the same entry, and that hybrid feature gives it a unique identity. To get a better picture of what you can find on the fantasy side, check our Underdog Fantasy review.

On the promotional front, Underdog has also stepped up to stay competitive and offers one of the best prediction market bonuses. New users can now use the promo code WSNPLAY to play $5 and get $50 in bonus entries. It is a straightforward incentive that gives you a great opportunity to explore the platform and try out the prediction markets without risking a large upfront investment.

However, I am still waiting for more deposit methods. The current options work, but Underdog needs more muscle if it wants Predict to scale, especially with users who appreciate flexibility in how they fund their accounts.

On the positive side, the no-fee banking policy stands out. Deposits and withdrawals move without an added percentage taken off the top, which is far from universal in this space.

The last missing piece is the desktop version. Most trades happen on mobile, but sometimes you want a bigger screen, more time, and a more comfortable workflow to scan markets and make decisions without doing everything thumb-first.

Bottom line, Underdog Predict is no longer a side experiment. It has carved out a real place in the U.S. prediction market conversation, and it now competes on substance rather than brand recognition alone.

Responsible Risk Management

Prediction markets are trading products, which means your capital is on the line every time you open a position. Prices move, sentiment shifts, and contracts can turn out worthless. It is possible to lose your entire investment, especially if you oversize positions or stack too much exposure into one event window.

Therefore, discipline is not optional here. It is the difference between staying in the game and tapping out early.

Underdog provides several built-in tools to help users control that risk. You can set deposit limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. There are also entry fee limits, which restrict how large a single entry can be, and entry count limits, which cap how many total entries you can submit.

If you need distance, the platform offers cool-off periods ranging from 3 days to 9 months, as well as self-exclusion options that go from 1 year to a lifetime ban.

At WSN, we treat prediction markets like any other form of active trading. We advise you to start with a bankroll you can afford to lose, define your sizing rules before you place a trade, and avoid increasing exposure just because a prior position missed.

Risk management is not about playing scared. It is about staying consistent, so one bad stretch does not undo months of solid decision-making.

How We Rate Prediction Markets

I wouldn’t be able to speak with any real authority about Underdog Predict if I hadn’t logged miles on the app first. I went in with my usual $1,000 testing budget and spent three straight weeks running Underdog Predict through its paces, focusing on the key performance indicators that shape the overall trading experience.

The first checkpoint is always the fees. Trading costs shape everything, from how aggressive you can be to how often it makes sense to move in and out. A heavier fee model pushes you toward fewer, longer holds. A lighter one gives you more room to take smaller edges and trade more frequently.

Right behind fees is liquidity, because liquidity basically means freedom. It’s the difference between being able to cut risk when a number moves against you and being forced to sit there hoping for a reversal. Thin markets can trap you in bad spots simply because there isn’t enough action to get filled on the way out.

I still take a quick look at promos even though prediction markets usually don’t hang their hat on bonuses. It’s not a core pillar in this category, but if a platform does offer onboarding incentives, that can shift the value for new users, so it’s worth noting.

Then I drill into tools and execution. A trading product should give you visibility and control. I’m looking for things like an order book, activity charts, and anything that can help you gauge flow and timing. Resting orders are a big one, too. If you can’t post a price and wait, you’re stuck taking what’s on the screen.

Banking support is another hard filter. Funding an account should be frictionless. If a platform doesn’t support the methods you already use, the whole experience becomes a workaround, and that’s a real negative when you’re trying to trade regularly.

Last is support quality. Trading apps attract beginners and experienced users alike, and both groups will run into questions. Responsive, competent support should be part of the product, especially when timing and account issues can directly impact your positions.

Why You Should Trust Us

Authority in this space comes from pattern recognition built over time. The team behind these reviews has years of experience in financial trading environments and betting exchanges, where pricing, liquidity, and execution determine long-term outcomes.

That kind of expertise informs every review. It ensures that platform analysis goes beyond marketing language and reflects the realities of capital allocation, execution risk, and long-term sustainability.
