Featured Matchup: Flyers vs. Capitals

Metropolitan Division rivalries always carry real bite, and this Wednesday clash at Capital One Arena in Washington is no exception. The Washington Capitals come in playing steady hockey with a 6-4-0 mark, looking to control pace on home ice behind their veteran leadership and strong defensive structure. Capital One Arena remains a tough barn for visiting division opponents, and Washington has capitalized by grinding down opponents in tight third-period situations.

On the other side of the ice, the Philadelphia Flyers arrive looking to snap an inconsistent early-season stretch. Philadelphia is battling through key lineup absences, with top forwards Travis Konecny and Owen Tippett sidelined by injuries, putting extra pressure on younger playmakers like Matvei Michkov and Trevor Zegras to spark the attack. With goaltender Joseph Woll between the pipes, Philadelphia will likely lean on tight neutral-zone checking to stay within striking distance. Bettors checking out this game can follow all the action while taking advantage of the DraftKings promo code offer to back either side.

How to Use DraftKings Promo Code for Flyers vs. Capitals

Betting responsibly means managing your stake sizes and picking markets that fit your strategy. Here are a few ways to approach the board with your initial qualifying bet or subsequent bonus bets:

• Use the $5 Qualifying Bet on Washington Moneyline (-230): The primary goal of your first bet is simply to trigger the welcome bonus. Backing the home favorite on the moneyline offers a shorter price and lower volatility for your initial $5 stake while you await your bonus tokens.

• Deploy Bonus Bets on the Flyers Puck Line (+1.5 at -130): Because bonus bets return only the profit and not the original stake, finding balanced lines where an underdog can keep things close is a solid angle. The Flyers have covered the spread consistently as road dogs, making a one-goal game or outright upset a live option.

• Target Plus-Money Value on the Total (Over 6.5 at +114): Since bonus bets do not consume your actual bankroll, targeting modest plus-money lines like Over 6.5 allows you to capture larger prospective payouts without risking out-of-pocket cash.

• Avoid Chasing Longshot Parlays: While multi-leg parlays offer big theoretical returns, they carry high house edges. Sticking to straight wagers on the puck line or total lets you evaluate each $25 bonus credit on realistic game outcomes.
