How Underdog Pick'em Works

Underdog Pick'em simplifies fantasy sports by focusing on individual player stat predictions rather than salary-cap rosters.

To build a entry, you choose More or Less on stat metrics (such as shots on goal, points, or assists) for at least two different players across one or more games.

Worked Example: Standard 2-Pick Entry

• Pick 1: Robert Thomas (Blues) - More than 0.5 Assists

• Pick 2: Jason Robertson (Stars) - More than 2.5 Shots on Goal

If both Robert Thomas records 1+ assist and Jason Robertson takes 3+ shots, your 2-pick entry hits. Standard 2-pick Standard entries pay 3× your entry amount. Payout multipliers scale up as you add more selections to your slip (up to 20x+ for multi-pick entries).

Underdog also offers Insured Entries, which grant a smaller payout if one pick loses, offering flexibility based on your risk preference.

Blues vs. Stars - Players in the Spotlight

As St. Louis and Dallas hit the ice on October 2, key playmakers on both sides present strong targets for Pick'em entries.

• Jason Robertson (Dallas Stars): Robertson remains one of the most prolific shot generators in the league, averaging over 3.0 shots per game across previous campaigns. His high operational usage on Dallas' top line and power-play unit makes his shot volume a primary focus.

• Robert Thomas (St. Louis Blues): Serving as the centerpiece of the Blues' offensive playmaking, Thomas consistently logs heavy ice time and leads St. Louis in assist production, frequently recording 1+ assist in multi-goal outings.

• Wyatt Johnston (Dallas Stars): The rising center continues to display elevated offensive output, regularly generating multi-shot performances and threat opportunities during high-tempo divisional rivalries.

• Jordan Kyrou (St. Louis Blues): Known for elite breakaway speed, Kyrou averages continuous offensive pressure, maintaining high shot-on-goal outputs against central division opponents.
