Mateusz Gamrot vs. Quillan Salkilld - Lightweight Division

Gamrot has been on the precipice of becoming one of the top contenders in the UFC for some time, but has yet to quite crack the elite group since joining the promotion in 2020. He’s the underdog against streaking Australian fighter Salkilld this Saturday, with the 26-year-old priced as the -154 favorite with FanDuel.

Now aged 35, Gamrot will likely feel that time is running out for him to reach the lightweight division summit. He’s failed to reach the pinnacle throughout his UFC career thus far, despite some hot streaks. Recent losses to Dan Hooker and Charles Oliveira leave him outside the top 5 in the rankings, but he got back in the win column with a submission victory over Ribovics back in April.

As for Salkilld, he remains undefeated in the UFC, boasting a 5-0 record. He’s an exciting prospect within the promotion, with four of those five victories earning him Performance of the Night. Those four decisive victories were early finishes inside the first round, proving just how lethal he is. Salkilld will be hoping to emulate his TKO win over veteran Beneil Dariush against another vet here.

The Australian will be looking to utilize his four-and-a-half reach advantage over Gamrot to manage distance, while the Pole will feel like his best chance of a win is by taking Sakilld down to the mat.

Diego Ferreira vs. Billy Quarantillo - Lightweight Division

Veteran Ferreira is hoping to snap a two-fight losing streak this weekend when he squares off against the experienced Quarantillo. New Yorker Quarantillo is also aspiring to return to winning ways after losing his last two consecutive bouts. It’s Brazilian Ferreira who is listed as the -186 favorite with FanDuel.

A recent record of 2-5 for 41-year-old Ferreira would signal that he is heading towards the end of his career. He lost his two fights in 2025 against Alexander Hernandez and Grant Dawson, and hasn’t secured a win since 2024 against Mateusz Rebecki.

Quarantillo is not exactly in great shape either, losing five of his last eight bouts. The 37-year-old has gone three years without a win, last defeating Damon Jackson back in August 2023. There’ll be a bit of rust to shake off as well, given that he’s not fought since December 2024 when he was knocked out by Cub Swanson. It’s also the first time he’s fighting at lightweight since 2016.

Darren Elkins vs. Yadier Del Valle - Featherweight Division

Another veteran enters the Octagon this Saturday in Darren Elkins, as he gears up for a lightweight matchup with Yadier Del Valle. Elkins has been with the promotion since 2010, and has a solid record of 19-11 in the UFC. However, he’s currently the huge +480 underdog with FanDuel against the much younger Del Valle.

Cuban fighter Del Valle suffered his first loss in the UFC earlier this February, losing by unanimous decision against Jordan Leavitt. He’d won his first two opening fights with the promotion against Connor Matthews and Isaac Dulgarian, both via first-round submissions, so will be aiming to bounce back against an aging Elkins.

“The Damage” likely struggles in this one, primarily due to the age disadvantage. Del Valle should have the upper hand in both the standup game and on the ground, which explains why he’s such a heavy favorite according to the oddsmakers.

Amanda Lemos vs. Alexia Thainara - Women’s Strawweight Division

Two Brazilian fighters do battle inside the Octagon in Vegas for a women’s strawweight clash. Veteran Amanda Lemos is aiming to respond following back-to-back defeats to Tatiana Suarez and Gillian Robertson, while Alexia Thainara is looking to extend her undefeated streak with the promotion. It’s the latter who is the -265 favorite with FanDuel.

Lemos remains inside the top 10 in the rankings, despite her recent successive losses. She’s a very experienced fighter who has fought against several top opponents. She even recorded a win over current champ Mackenzie Dern back in February 2024, but the younger Thainara could cause her several problems this weekend.

“Burguesinha” does not have anywhere near the same level of opponents on her resume. However, she has looked like a genuine contender in her wins over Molly McCann, Loma Lookboonmee, and Bruna Brasil thus far. Still, Lemos could prove to have the technical skill and chops to get back to winning ways in this one.

Billy Ray Goff vs. Ty Miller - Welterweight Division

UFC Fight Night 284 begins with a welterweight bout between Billy Ray Goff and Ty Miller. The pair of Dana White’s Contender Series graduates will meet with plenty to prove. That said, it’s Miller who is the clear -430 favorite with FanDuel.

Goff kicked off his career in the UFC with a first-round knockout triumph over Yusaku Kinoshita, but has since lost his last two fights against Trey Waters and Ramiz Brahimaj. As for Miller, he’s still undefeated, earning a promotional debut win over Adam Fugitt back in January.

“Thriller” certainly has the size and reach advantage to control this fight, so it’s set to be a difficult night for Goff.
