McGregor hasn’t won a fight in the UFC in over six years, and squares off against a fighter in Holloway who has remained much more active and defeated Dustin Poirier this time last year. Despite coming off of a decision loss against Charles Oliveira back in March, Holloway is the -235 favorite with FanDuel for this rematch.
“Notorious” does not have fond memories to look back on regarding his last two fights in the cage. He suffered back-to-back defeats to Poirier, first getting finished in the second round before breaking his leg in the second. He’s won just one of his last four bouts across a near eight-year period, last defeating Donald Cerrone in 2020. It’s been quite some time since he dominated the featherweight and lightweight divisions over ten years ago.
This will be Holloway’s second fight of the year, and he will be hoping to get back in the win column after losing to Oliveira. He’s lost two of his last three fights, also getting knocked out by Ilia Topuria back in October 2024. “Blessed” will feel confident that he can get revenge for his 2013 loss to McGregor, especially since he got one over Poirier while the Irishman failed.
These two fighters are making the step up to welterweight for this bout, leading to even further questions regarding McGregor’s fitness, especially after such a lengthy lay off. As always with McGregor fights, he’ll be looking for the early KO. However, if Holloway extends this fight into the deeper rounds, it seems incredibly unlikely that he loses. “Blessed” has the striking volume to sustain pressure, yet will have to deal with McGregor’s size and strength advantage.

Benoit Saint Denis vs. Paddy Pimblett - Lightweight Division
| Benoit Saint Denis | TALE OF THE TAPE | Paddy Pimblett |
|---|---|---|
| 30 | AGE | 31 |
| 5 ft 11 in | HEIGHT | 5 ft 10 in |
| 73 in | REACH | 73 in |
| 17-3-0, 1 NC | RECORD | 23-4-0 |
Entering this bout on a four-fight win streak, the oddsmakers have Saint Denis listed as the -146 favorite with FanDuel. The No. 5 ranked contender in the lightweight division takes on No. 6 ranked Pimblett, who is coming off a decision loss to Justin Gaethje.
After failing to make the step up against Poirier and Renato Moicano in 2024, “God of War” has started to build momentum again following successive victories over Kyle Prepolec, Maurício Ruffy, Beneil Dariush, and Dan Hooker. All four of those wins were finished early, too, demonstrating just how deadly Saint Denis is.
As for “Paddy the Baddy”, his seven-fight unbeaten run in the UFC came to an end back in January after an interim title bout loss to Gaethje. He’ll have to show that he can bounce back here if he wants to earn himself a rematch with the recently crowned UFC Lightweight Champion.
Pimblett is a rugged fighter who showed a lot of spirit against Gaethje, yet that may not be enough against a technically sound grappler and striker in Saint Denis. The Frenchman has 11 submission wins in his career and boasts incredibly accurate striking to boot.

Cory Sandhagen vs. Mario Bautista - Bantamweight Division
| Cory Sandhagen | TALE OF THE TAPE | Mario Bautista |
|---|---|---|
| 34 | AGE | 33 |
| 5 ft 11 in | HEIGHT | 5 ft 9 in |
| 70 in | REACH | 69 in |
| 18-6-0 | RECORD | 17-3-0 |
McGregor vs. Holloway is not the only rematch on the card at UFC 329 this weekend. Sandhagen meets Bautista for the second time in a bantamweight bout, as he looks to bounce back following a title fight loss to Merab Dvalishvili last October. The 34-year-old is the -156 favorite with FanDuel against Bautista.
“The Sandman” secured a submission triumph over Bautista back in January 2019, but he enters the fight this time around having lost two of his last three bouts. Nevada-born Bautista has lost just one of his last ten fights with the promotion, dropping a decision to Umar Nurmagomedov back in October. However, the 33-year-old managed to rally with a submission win over Vinicius Oliveira earlier this year.
This one looks hard to call. Bautista will likely look to take this one to the mat to capitalize on his superior grappling skills, while Sandhagen has the striking advantage.

Brandon Royval vs. Lone’er Kavanagh - Flyweight Division

| 17-9-0 | RECORD | 10-1-0 |
Brandon Royval is hoping to snap a two-fight skid this weekend when he meets English fighter Lone’er Kavanagh in the flyweight division. Back-to-back defeats to Joshua Van and Manel Kape have put Royval on the back foot, while Kavanagh has just one pro loss on his record. It’s the latter who is the -230 favorite with FanDuel.
Kavanagh has youth on his side, and responded strongly from his first career defeat to Charles Johnson with a decision win over Brandon Moreno, taking his UFC record to 3-1. “Raw Dawg” endured a nasty first-round KO defeat against Kape last time out, but is a well-rounded fighter who has the experience against elite fighters.

King Green vs. Terrance McKinney - Lightweight Division
| King Green | TALE OF THE TAPE | Terrance McKinney |
|---|---|---|
| 39 | AGE | 31 |
| 5 ft 10 in | HEIGHT | 5 ft 10 in |
| 71 in | REACH | 73.5 in |
| 35-17-1, 1 NC | RECORD | 18-8-0 |
UFC veteran King Green opens up the UFC 329 fight card looking to extend his three-fight win streak against Terrance McKinney. Green submitted Jeremy Stephens in his last outing just two months ago, while McKinney impressed with a 24-second knockout over Kyle Nelson. It’s “T Wrecks” who is the -142 favorite with FanDuel for this bout.
McKinney’s explosive finishing power is what makes him the oddsmakers’ favorite here. None of his fights have ever gone the distance, including across his eight career losses. Green’s fights rarely end by decision either, so this one is not expected to go all the way.
