With the performances turned in by several of the WNBA stars Thursday night, those seeing action today are going to have a lot to live up to. If they can, it is going to be a great night to take the over for quite a few WNBA player props.
At the same time, if they can’t, it will be a great night to bet the under. Let’s see if we can figure out how a select few WNBA player props will play out tonight.
The odds for today’s WNBA props can be found at FanDuel Sportsbook (unless otherwise stated). Sign up now and get $350 in Bonus Bets when you bet $5 for 7 days. It is so easy; do it today! Find more details on this offer in our FanDuel Promo Code overview.
Okay, since that’s been covered, let’s get right to it and talk about WNBA player props (check the latest injury report before placing any wagers).

Brittney Sykes, Over 19.5 Points at -128
Sykes took advantage of facing two poor defenses in her last two games (vs. Chicago and vs. Connecticut), scoring 25 and 38 points. Washington is playing better defense than both, but not by much (Washington allows 86.9 points per game; Chicago allows 87.9, and Connecticut, 89.4).
She has gone over this total in three of her last games and in 50% of games to date. With how she’s been shooting the last two games, she could absolutely go over this total against the Mystics in Washington, D.C.

Marina Mabrey, Over 2.5 Made Threes at -130
Mabrey is a solid 3-point shooter, hitting 34.3% of her attempts so far this season. She made four of 12 attempts in Wednesday’s overtime win over Connecticut, but went 1-5 and 2-6 in her previous two games this month. But in May, she made 3+ 3-pointers in six of nine games, including a 3-9 night in the opener against Washington.
The Mystics do not defend the perimeter well, as teams have made 36.7% of their 3-point attempts this season (9.5-25.9 per game), good for 12th-best in the league. Against this Washington defense, I like her chances of making 3+ 3-pointers in this game.

Dominique Malonga, Under 14.5 Points at -102
Malonga has gone over this total in two of three games since returning from the injured list and has appeared to be a great bet to go over this total as long as she plays close to 20 minutes. However, she scores just over 60% of her points in the paint, and Golden State has held opposing teams to a league-low 25.6 points.
Yeah, the Valkyries will keep her in check tonight and hold her scoring down. Take the Under.

Kayla Thornton, Over 5.5 Rebounds at -106
Golden State does not have a prolific rebounder like Angel Reese or A’ja Wilson. Thornton leads the team with 5.4 per game this season. She went over it with eight in the season opener against the Storm in Seattle, but has gone over it just four more times since then.
So, shouldn’t that wager read “under” then? Not so fast. Teams have been recording 36+ rebounds per game when in Seattle, facing the Storm (Golden State had 35 in the opener). Thornton will go over this mark tonight.

Flau'jae Johnson, Under 11.5 Points at -102
Johnson has gone over this total in three of her last five games and in eight of 14 games played so far this season. Of those eight, she needed help from the free-throw line in seven of them to get over this total.
The Golden State defense is allowing under 80 points a game. With Johnson shooting just 32.3% from the floor this season, I doubt she can score in double digits against this defense. Take the under.
