France vs. Spain Prop Bets
France takes on Spain at the AT&T Stadium in a tantalizing World Cup semi-final today. Our World Cup predictions suggest a tightly contested match between two tournament favourites.
Both Teams to Score ($0.58) at Kalshi
The focus of our latest selection of daily World Cup team props is France vs Spain, which has the potential to be an all-time classic encounter. These two sides began the tournament as the two favorites to lift the trophy, but only one of them will be in the final this weekend. After today’s game, either Luis de la Fuente or Didier Deschamps will only have a third-place play-off left to prepare for.
France has been the more impressive performer up to now. It is the only team at this World Cup to have won every match within 90 minutes, and five of its six victories have come by a two-goal margin or more. Spain tied with Cape Verde on matchday one, since when it has won three matches by one goal.
France and Spain use different game plans. France has become more attack-minded this tournament, with Deschamps fielding a fearsome front four of Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Michael Olise and Desire Doue. But that quartet does its best work in transition. France is happy to give up the ball (it had less possession than Morocco in the quarter-finals, for instance) in exchange for opening up space to break into.
Spain, on the other hand, prizes possession above almost everything. It is arguably a defensive tactic as much as an offensive one, and it has helped La Roja concede just one goal across six fixtures in North America. However, it is hard to see how Spain will be able to keep out the likes of Mbappe, Dembele and Olise. Even with a minority of possession, France has the firepower to smash through Spain’s rearguard.
At the same time, Spain has the tools to ask questions of the France defense in a way that Morocco and Paraguay were not able to in earlier knockout rounds. Go for both teams to score at $0.58 at Kalshi.

Over 1.5 Goals in the Second Half ($0.47) at Kalshi
France scored 10 goals in three group games, but it has struck just three times in its two knockout matches up to now. That is in large part because of the strategy adopted by its opponents. None of Senegal, Iraq nor Norway was overly defensive or cautious in those group fixtures, but Paraguay and Morocco were much more conservative in an attempt to shut France down. It worked to an extent, but neither team scored against Les Bleus so both were eliminated.
Spain will be much more proactive, taking the ball away from France for large chunks of this game. It will perhaps adopt a more risk-averse game plan due to wariness of its opponent’s speed in transition, and the first half may be a case of both teams feeling each other out. But there is reason to believe the match will open up after the break.
Neither France nor Spain will have an inferiority complex about the other. As such, this will not be the sort of game where one team dominates territory and the other simply sits back and hopes for the best. Both teams will believe they can win this match, and although France is the favorite with the best online sportsbooks and prediction sites, Spain is not exactly a plucky underdog.
We anticipate an absorbing but low-scoring first half followed by a second half in which the goals start to flow. Predict over 1.5 goals between minutes 46 and 90 (plus the often considerable amount of stoppage time) at $0.47 with Kalshi.

Lamine Yamal to Score or Assist ($0.59) at Kalshi
One of the best things about this World Cup is that the stars have really turned up. Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland have all been magnificent for their countries, as have Michael Olise, Jude Bellingham and Ousmane Dembele. Perhaps the biggest name who has not quite hit top form is Lamine Yamal.
There is an obvious reason for that. Yamal was injured before the tournament and faced a race against time to be fit for the big kick-off. He was rushed back to appear as a second-half substitute in Spain’s opening game against Cape Verde because La Roja desperately needed a goal.
Slowly but surely, Yamal has been getting back to his best. He showed flashes of quality against both Portugal and Belgium, without yet hitting peak form. There is still time for Yamal, though. If he delivers in the semi-finals and final, no one will remember his slow start to the competition. The business end of the World Cup is all that matters from this point on.
Yamal is both a creator and a converter of chances, as he showed at Euro 2024 when Spain lifted the trophy, as well as in the last two years of the club game at Barcelona. We conclude our latest recommended prediction piece with a look at soccer player props odds, with Lamine Yamal to score or assist an attractive pick at $0.59 with Kalshi.
