FanDuel Launches Prime Video Integration for NFL Streamers

Thursday Night Football viewers will have a chance to see the game in a whole new way this season.

Prime Video customers can opt in to have FanDuel Sportsbook integrated into their TNF streams. This will allow bettors to track any wagers placed on the platform in real time. They’ll also see live odds for the most popular bets throughout the game.

The new FanDuel feature will not allow bettors to actually place wagers.

FanDuel’s new offering is part of a larger effort to double down on this NFL season. The operator has been pushing its new Rewards Club, BetProtect+ feature, and Game Intelligence.

"Our customers look forward to football season, and this year we're giving them more control of their experience to make it the most rewarding season ever," FanDuel Managing Director, Sports shared in a recent press release. "Rewards Club offers those who continue to choose FanDuel Sportsbook more promotions and flexibility in how they use them, and we're also thrilled to bring new research tools and an enhanced version of our popular Bet Protect+ to the NFL."

The new offering is already live and available for Prime Video customers.

FanDuel Stepping Up Promotions

One reason for FanDuel’s commitment to growing this NFL season is disappointing fourth quarter results. The operator lost market share to its rivals, and believes the availability and quality of promotions was to blame.

As a result, the sportsbook increased its marketing budget to upgrade its offerings.

However, FanDuel isn’t the only top sportsbook to step its game up this NFL season. DraftKings Sportsbook launched a national campaign that included raffles, bonuses, merchandise, and even free gas in a few major cities.

The extra investments from the country’s top two sportsbooks come as the sports prediction industry continues to grow. Operators now need to compete with rivals that face fewer regulations and lower operating costs, leading them to lose bettors at an alarming rate.
