Powell leads the LA Clippers in scoring at 24.9 points per night and is only one of two players, along with James Harden, averaging more than 17.4 points per game. The 31-year-old went over this line in four straight and five of seven games thus far and is shooting 50.8 percent from the field and 45 percent from three.
The Clippers are facing the Philadelphia 76ers, who rank 21st in defensive rating and do not have much interior defense due to the absence of Joel Embiid. Powell has the hot hand and will continue to get plenty of shot attempts now that he doesn’t have to share the ball with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Suggs is off to a career-best start, averaging 17.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists on 44.3 percent shooting from the field. He went cold from distance in his last few games but shot 42.5 percent from beyond the arc in the first month of the season.
The Orlando Magic are facing an Indiana Pacers team that is 26th in defensive rating and that gives up the fourth-most points per game (121.9). Suggs scored 25 and 18 points in two matchups with the Pacers last year and will be higher on the food chain with Paolo Banchero out of the lineup.

Wemby posted a 25-point 5x5 game last Thursday and is averaging a double-double, yet his early-season performances have still largely come as disappointments. The 20-year-old didn’t take the leap that many were expecting him to and is averaging fewer points, rebounds, and assists on worse shooting percentages than he did last year despite playing more minutes.
Wemby is only at 42.3 percent from the field and 22 percent from three thus far. He went under this line in five of seven outings and has already seen the Rockets twice this season, most recently going 6/14 for 14 points when he met them on Monday, Oct. 28.

Curry only just came back from an injury on Monday in a 125-112 win against the Washington Wizards. He scored 24 points in 24 minutes but, most importantly, only made four of his nine three-point attempts, bringing him to a perfect 4-0 in favor of the under.
Steph only averaged 25.8 minutes per game, by far the lowest of his career. That number will inevitably increase as the season progresses, but he isn’t spending a ton of time on the court. He’s also going against the Boston Celtics, who have the best defensive personnel in the league and who rank sixth in three-point defense (32.9 percent allowed).

It’s easy to forget about Irving when discussing the Dallas Mavericks, whether it be because of the excellence of Luka Doncic or the arrival of Klay Thompson. However, the 32-year-old has been outstanding, averaging 23.9 points per game on 48.4 shooting from the field and an absurd 56.1 percent from deep.
Irving isn’t consistently taking a ton of shots but just put up 27 points against the Pacers his last time out and hit the over in three of his last four games. The Chicago Bulls also rank 25th in points allowed per game and don’t have anyone capable of guarding Dallas’ PG.
