Best NBA Prop Bets for Friday, November 8
Clint Capela Under 8.5 Rebounds (-146) at FanDuel
Cpela has a reputation for being one of the best glass-cleaners in the NBA. He’s still capable of producing, but he isn’t playing enough minutes to regularly collect gaudy rebound totals, which is what would be required for him to go over this line.
The big man only beat this line once in his last six games and twice in nine total games this season. He’s also down to 22.9 minutes per game, the lowest since his second season in the NBA in 2015-16, which is why he averaged just 6.4 boards per game.

Bam Adebayo Over 16.5 Points (-113) at FanDuel
The versatile Adebayo isn’t having a great season on offense thus far. He averaged 14.9 points per game, also the fewest since his second professional season, and shot 39.8 percent from the field—a truly terrible mark for a center.
With all of that being said, Adebayo likes to get up for matchups with Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. He beat this line in five straight regular-season matchups with Denver and should find it even easier to do the same again given all of the injury problems that they are dealing with.

Cade Cunningham Over 1.5 Threes (+106) at FanDuel
The Detroit Pistons aren’t exactly appointment-viewing, but Cunningham is having a very nice season. He averaged 22.9 points, 7.7 assists, and 6.8 rebounds on 47.1 percent shooting and is running the offense at an impressive level, given some of their personnel limitations.
Although Cunningham shot a terrible 23.5 percent front three over four games this month, he went over in the first six games of the season and took a career-high 5.8 attempts per game. The Atlanta Hawks allow opponents to shoot 40.6 percent from three and to make 17.6 attempts per game, both of which are the highest marks in the league.

Bradley Beal Under 15.5 Points (-128) at FanDuel
Beal once led the NBA in scoring, but he’s not in a position to perform at that level night in and night out anymore. The 31-year-old averaged 15.5 points per game and only took 12 field goals per game, the fewest in his entire career.
Although Beal shot impressive 49/42/73 splits, he went under this line in four of his last five games and only scored seven points his last time on the court. The Dallas Mavericks rank third in defensive rating and will have the benefit of home-court advantage on their side on Friday night.

Fred VanVleet Under 14.5 Points (-122) at FanDuel
Whether it be a miracle run through March Madness at Wichita State or an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors, VanVleet has carved out quite the legacy for himself. That said, he’s still just six feet tall on a good day and is a low-efficiency shooter who’s at 38.8 percent from the field and 28.3 percent from three this season.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are humbly on pace to challenge for the best defensive rating in NBA history and only allowed 96.5 points per 100 possessions, 7.3 fewer than the next-best team. VanVleet’s size makes him vulnerable against the tremendous length and speed of OKC, and we don’t expect to see him fill it up when the two teams square off.
