Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Utah Jazz | +6.5 (-108) | +220 | Over 222.5 (-110) |
San Antonio Spurs | -6.5 (-112) | -270 | Under 222.5 (-110) |
Victor Wembanyama may not be as productive offensively as last season, but the French international has kept his standards on the defensive side of the ball. Wembanyama’s presence has significantly improved the Spurs’s defense this season as they make strides in their development process.
In nine games for the Spurs this season, Wembanyama is averaging 17.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.7 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game on 41.3% shooting from the field. He struggled in his last game, a win over the Trail Blazers, posting 12 points, eight rebounds, four steals, and three blocks while shooting 30.8% in 32 minutes of play.
Wembanyama has collected over 3.5 blocks in three of his nine appearances this season and all three of his appearances against the Jazz last season. Coming up against a Jazz team struggling in all offensive areas, expect Wembanyama to thrive while protecting the rim and challenging shooters on Saturday night.

Chicago Bulls | +2.5 (-110) | +124 | Over 239.0 (-112) |
Atlanta Hawks | -2.5 (-110) | -144 | Under 239.0 (-108) |
Trae Young's Atlanta Hawks haven't gotten off to the strongest start this regular season. While they're still in a retooling phase, focusing on star point guard Trae Young, the Hawks have seen their All-Star point guard return to All-NBA form.
Through ten appearances this season, Young is averaging 24.9 points, 11.1 assists, and 3.2 threes per game on 39.2% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range. He was excellent in the Hawks' last game, a one-point loss to the Pistons, putting up 35 points, 13 assists, and six made threes on 44.0% from the field and 50.0% from deep.
Young has been aggressive on offense this season, hitting over 3.5 threes in four of his ten games on a career-high 9.6 attempts per game. The Bulls' defense is nothing to write home about, and Young's recent hot streak gives good reason to believe he'll remain on point from three-point range.

Brooklyn Nets | +13.0 (-106) | +590 | Over 224.0 (-110) |
Cleveland Cavaliers | -13.0 (-114) | -850 | Under 224.0 (-110) |
While the Brooklyn Nets’ record isn’t putting the league on notice, they’re overachieving compared to expectations entering the season. Much of their success is owed to 23-year-old shooting guard Cam Thomas, who has been handed the keys to the Nets’ offense under rookie head coach Jordi Fernandez.
In nine games for the Nets this season, Thomas averaged 25.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.6 threes per game on 43.3% from the three-point line. In Thomas’ previous match, a four-point loss to the Boston Celtics, he contributed 31 points, three rebounds, and four made threes on 50.0% from the field.
Thomas has hit over 2.5 threes in four of his nine appearances this season. The undefeated Cavaliers are one of the most dangerous two-way teams in the NBA, but their vulnerability from three-point range should play right into the streaky shooting Thomas’ favor.

Toronto Raptors | +7.0 (-108) | +240 | Over 226.5 (-110) |
LA Clippers | -7.0 (-112) | -295 | Under 226.5 (-110) |
While most of the attention around the Toronto Raptors focuses on the development of Gradey Dick, RJ Barrett, or their surprisingly talented crop of rookies, veteran center Jakob Poeltl has quietly put together one of his best starts to a regular season. Now one of the Raptors’ veteran presences, Poeltl has been a leader on both ends of the court through the early phases of the season.
In his ninth professional season and fifth with the Toronto Raptors, Poeltl is averaging 15.0 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game on 59.2% from the field – career-highs in both points and rebounds. The Austrian international had his worst performance of the regular season in his last match, a loss to the Kings, putting up ten points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 35 minutes of play.
Poeltl has scored over 14.5 points in five of his nine games this season. He’ll have a tough matchup against Zubac of the Clippers, but expect him to bounce back after a poor outing in his last match while benefiting from the return of Immanuel Quickley to the Raptors lineup.
