NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Superstar Steph Curry and a Lakers-Heavy SGP
It’s Friday, which means I have five of the best NBA player prop bets to share to help power into the weekend.
I nailed my same-game parlay for +383 odds and a couple of my best straight picks yesterday, largely thanks to a 4-0 sweep on picks in the Timberwolves-Grizzlies game, which ended in a 16-point win for the Wolves.
Friday’s slate is headlined by several thrilling pairings, including the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Buck, the Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets, and the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets to close out the day.
Here are my top five NBA player prop picks for Friday.
Additionally, be sure to check out our prediction for the Rockets vs Lakers matchup.

Best NBA Prop Bets for Friday, April 11
Anthony Davis Under 9.5 Rebounds (+110) at FanDuel
Davis cashed the over on this line for just the second time in his last seven games, or the period during which he was with the Dallas Mavericks after his groin injury, in his most recent outing. However, that was influenced by the Los Angeles Lakers forcing the Dallas Mavericks to downsize and match their lineup.
The Mavs have an enormous frontcourt stuffed with capable rebounders. They’re also about to face the Toronto Raptors who, while not great on the boards, are a young and energetic team that have many players competing to keep their spot on the roster heading into next season.

Stephen Curry Over 24.5 Points (-132) at FanDuel
Curry needs to enter do-or-die mode with the Golden State Warriors at risk of falling to the Play-In Tournament and in their easiest remaining game of the regular season against the Portland Trail Blazers. He went over in five of his last six games and shot the ball extremely well in April.
The Trail Blazers have nice defensive pieces, but Curry should approach this game with a playoff-like mentality. Steve Kerr would also be wise to play his stars heavy minutes, again, to avoid the Play-In tournament and earn an extra week of rest for one of the oldest starting lineups in the league.

Andrew Nembhard Under 9.5 Points (-130) at FanDuel
The 25-year-old guard had six total points in his last two games and went under this line in four of his last six games. He did not play the Orlando Magic since Nov. 6, but he had only five points on 25 percent shooting during that contest (although he went over in their first meeting in October).
The Magic allowed the fewest points per game over the last month and will be amping up their level of defensive intensity with the playoffs just around the corner. Nembhard also is not a high-volume shooter and has a limited ceiling as a scorer, particularly in this matchup.

Tyler Herro Over 23.5 Points (-110) at FanDuel
Once the Sixth Man of the Year and now the primary ball-handler for the Miami Heat, Herro had 30 points (and a laughable gaffe) in his last outing against the Chicago Bulls and went over in six of his last seven games. He also averaged 27.5 points on 49/42/91 shooting splits in April and gets to go against one of the worst defenses in the entire league.
The New Orleans Pelicans gave up 136 points to the Milwaukee Bucks last night and rank 26th in points allowed per game. Herro had 32 points on 50 percent shooting when these teams last met on New Year’s Day, and he’s in a great rhythm and taking a ton of shots per game.

Christian Braun Over 1.5 Threes (+136) at FanDuel
Speaking of great rhythms, Braun shot 50 percent from beyond the arc on 4.5 attempts per game in April and went over this line in three straight games. He also played at least 37 minutes in four straight games and just scored 25 points on 75 percent shooting, so his confidence is sky-high.
The Denver Nuggets, like many teams in the West, are desperate for wins with the competition for playoff seeding set to last through the final minute of Game 82. The Memphis Grizzlies are on the second night of a back-to-back and gave up the second-most made threes per game over the last 30 days of play.

NBA Same-Game Parlay (+242) at FanDuel
-Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Lakers (-10)
-
Jaxson Hayes over 5.5 points: Will be used to defend Alperen Sengun and will be a nice alternative to the ball pressure the Rockets apply with his vertical spacing.
-
LeBron James over 6.5 rebounds: Went over in back-to-back games and had eight rebounds in his last matchup with Houston on March 31.
-
Rui Hachimura 1+ three: Should be used as a release valve when the Rockets swarm LeBron, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves, and made at least one three in six straight games.
