NBA Player Props and Best Bets: LeBron James, Anthony Edwards & More Picks for Sunday, March 1
We closed out February going five-for-five with my best NBA player props of the day, and I’ve got my Sunday picks ready to go.
Brandon Miller dropped 26 points and eight rebounds to keep the Charlotte Hornets’ winning stretch going, while Bam Adebayo went for 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Miami Heat past the Houston Rockets.
The Sunday schedule begins with an NBA Cup rematch as the New York Knicks host the San Antonio Spurs, and it will also feature the Philadelphia 76ers visiting the Boston Celtics.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Sunday, March 1.

Jalen Brunson under 2.5 threes (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Brunson made 2.9 threes per game on 37.6 percent shooting for the year as a whole, and he went over this line in back-to-back games. He also split the over/under against the Spurs, which means that there isn’t a strong precedent of him favoring the under.
The primary reason that I am backing Brunson to go under this line is that the Spurs’ defense has been fairly incredible recently, ranking second in made threes allowed per game over the last few weeks. Brunson also didn’t go over this line in three straight games since early January, and I expect the Spurs to defend Brunson by trying to funnel him to Victor Wembanyama at the basket.

Anthony Edwards over 5.5 rebounds (+114) at FanDuel Sportsbook
This feels like a relevant time to recirculate one of my favorite trends, which is Edwards going over his rebounding line in matchups with high-profile opponents, particularly those in the Western Conference. He recorded six and eight rebounds in two matchups with the Denver Nuggets this season, and he also went over in two of three games against the first-place OKC Thunder.
Edwards went under in back-to-back games, but he also had six and nine rebounds in the two games immediately before that. The Nuggets ranked ninth in rebounds allowed per game over their last 15 outings, but I expect a full-throated effort from Edwards this afternoon.

Donovan Clingan over 12.5 rebounds (-138) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Clingan was held under in 26 minutes against the Hornets, one of the best rebounding teams in the league, but he had 16 and 13 rebounds in two games just before that. He also averaged 11.5 rebounds per game and played 28.5 minutes per night in February, meaning he should get plenty of time to cash the over.
The Atlanta Hawks have one great rebounder in Jalen Johnson, but they also allowed the third-most rebounds per game over the last few weeks. Clingan barely missed the over with 12 rebounds in 28 minutes against the Hawks on Jan. 15, and I think he will right his wrongs here.

LeBron James under 1.5 threes (-132) at FanDuel Sportsbook
LeBron went 4-6 from downtown in last night’s blowout win against the Golden State Warriors, but he’d gone under in three of four games just before that. He also averaged just 1.4 made threes per game on 31.1 percent shooting from range, a significant drop-off from his standard over the last couple of seasons.
The King said after the game that he always has confidence in his three-point shot, but the consistency simply hasn’t been there. As bad as the Sacramento Kings are at defending the perimeter, I expect LeBron to cash another under.

Naji Marshall under 5.5 rebounds (-125) at FanDuel Sportsbook
At the most basic level, rebounds require missed shots. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander back in the Thunder’s lineup, and the Dallas Mavericks dealing with a plethora of injuries, I’m just not sure how many rebounding opportunities there will be for the Dallas players.
Marshall snatched 10 rebounds a few days ago, but he also had just two in his last outing. The Thunder are about average on the boards, but Marshall only averaged 4.9 rebounds per game for the year and 4.7 in March, and there’s no obvious reason to expect a surge in his productivity.
