NBA Player Props Today: Thunder vs. Spurs Game 3

The battle to win the Western Conference reaches Game 3 on Friday night, and I have my best Thunder vs. Spurs player prop picks and bets for today’s matchup.

After a double-overtime loss in Game 1, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 30 points and nine assists to power the Thunder to a nine-point win in Game 2. The series heads back to San Antonio for the first time, where the Spurs are also favored for the first time in this series, a dynamic shift that is heavily impacting the latest NBA Western Conference odds.

Jalen Williams, De’Aaron Fox, and Dylan Harper are all in danger of missing tonight’s action through individual injuries, making this a true test of each team’s depth and mettle.

Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Thunder vs. Spurs Game 3 today on Friday, May 22.

Best NBA Player Props Today 2026 05 22 Thunder vs Spurs Game 3

Victor Wembanyama Under 3.5 Assists (-138) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Harper is seemingly a long shot to make the court after suffering a hamstring injury in Game 2, while Fox has yet to play in the series. If one or both of them are gone, the lack of guard play should flatten the Spurs’ offense, leaving them with less ball movement and fewer opportunities for Wemby to catch the defense in rotation.

While the Thunder’s defensive adjustment to force Wembanyama to play more on the perimeter resulted in him reaching six assists in Game 2, I don’t expect that trend to hold. The 7-foot-4 Frenchman has now gone under this line in six of seven matchups with the Thunder this season, and I’d count on him going under again.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 7.5 Assists (+104) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Spurs learned from the Los Angeles Lakers, who did a great job of forcing the ball out of Gilgeous-Alexander’s hands, but didn’t have the athletes on the back end to live in rotation. The Spurs have the necessary players, but they need to have a counter for the Thunder’s adjustment that was unveiled in Game 2.

OKC put Gilgeous-Alexander off the ball so that he couldn’t be trapped and couldn’t have the ball taken out of his hands when crossing halfcourt, which worked to great effect. With time to make adjustments, and also with the Spurs being the home team, I believe a combination of improved defense and the Thunder’s role players potentially shooting worse on the road give value to the under.

De’Aaron Fox Over 13.5 Points (-120) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Spurs were so desperate for quality guard play that they let Jordan McLaughlin get real minutes down the stretch in Game 2. Fox would give an immediate boost to what has to be a tired rotation of players, given he would be fresh, and that he beat this line in 10 of 11 playoff games.

Dylan Harper has filled in admirably in Fox’s absence, but he could also be gone due to an injury from Game 2. Fox averaged 18.6 points per game during the regular season and is more than capable of hitting the over if he can get on the court.

Chet Holmgren Under 1.5 Threes (-144) at FanDuel Sportsbook

We’re two games into the series, and one of the ways that the Thunder could’ve gained a huge advantage was if Holmgren was lighting it up from three. Despite Victor Wembanyama being almost permanently rooted in the paint, Holmgren has only taken six three-point attempts in the series and made two of them.

Isaiah Hartenstein’s improved play — and him being allowed to foul Wembanyama nearly the entire game — ate into Holmgren’s minutes, capping him at 27 in Game 2. If he isn’t on the court a ton, and when he is, he isn’t shooting, it’s tough to fall in love with the over.

Jared McCain Over 1.5 Threes (+100) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Thunder looked their best when they had the court spaced as much as they could. McCain is a critical part of that lineup, as seen by his going 3-9 from three in only 26 minutes in Game 2 on Wednesday.

The Spurs’ potential lack of guard depth means that there will be tired legs on the court, and McCain should be fresh after only playing 22 minutes per game to start the series. He looks confident shooting the ball and could be in line for more minutes if Jalen Williams can’t go because of his hamstring.
