NBA Player Props Today: Knicks vs. Cavaliers Game 4
The Cleveland Cavaliers are fighting to keep this season alive as they prepare for another matchup with the New York Knicks, and I have my best player props today for the matchup.
Facing a 3-0 deficit, the Cavs need to win four straight games to keep their season going and to advance to the NBA Finals. The franchise has a 3-1 Finals comeback on its resume, although a prime LeBron James isn’t walking through the door any time soon, which explains why their NBA Eastern Conference odds have all but vanished.
The Knicks, meanwhile, have the most efficient offense in NBA Playoff history over the last 10 games, all of which were wins. A victory tonight would send them into the Finals on the back of consecutive series sweeps, putting them against the winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder-San Antonio Spurs series out west.
Here are my top Game 4 Knicks vs. Cavaliers player prop picks and bets today for Monday, May 25.

Jalen Brunson Over 26.5 Points (-104) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Brunson was part of a Villanova men’s basketball team that won two national championships back in college. With his team up 3-0 and having the chance to earn extra rest before the championship stage, I believe that he will recognize the importance of tonight’s game, and attack it with the vigor it deserves.
The 29-year-old scored 38, 19, and 30 points in this series while shooting 50 percent from the floor, but only 11.8 percent from three. The Cavaliers simply don’t have enough answers for the Knicks’ high-powered offense, and their lack of a point of attack defender has left Brunson in control of games.

James Harden Under 18.5 Points (-136) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Harden went under in two of three games and hasn’t taken more than 16 shots in a game in this series. He only scraped over by one point in Game 3, despite that being his most efficient shooting night of the series, boosting his series shooting splits to just 41/23/75.
The Knicks held the Cavaliers to 101.7 points per game on 42.9 shooting from the floor and 29.4 percent from three in the conference finals. Harden’s reputation of disappearing in the playoffs is being upheld again, and there’s no reason to believe that he’ll come out aggressively looking to score.

Josh Hart Under 1.5 Threes (+122) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Hart hit the over in back-to-back games, but it was his 5-11 (45.5 percent) Game 2 performance that won the headlines. However, he only made 1.5 threes per game on 30.2 percent shooting in the postseason and is not known as a knockdown shooter.
Also a former Villanova Wildcat, Hart has gone under this line in nine of 13 playoff games. The Cavaliers also surrendered the fewest made threes per game in the playoffs, and the positive odds associated with this line are enticing.

OG Anunoby Under 5.5 Rebounds (-136) at FanDuel Sportsbook
I’m not sure that Kenny Atkinson is the best pre-game speech-giver in the world, but I do expect the Cavaliers to have more energy and physicality in the “hustle” areas of the game, such as rebounding. That would theoretically lead to fewer rebounding opportunities for some of the Knicks players, including Anunoby.
The underrated wing had seven rebounds in Game 3, but also went under in the first two games of the series. He’s now gone under in four of five games dating back to the conference semifinals, and his greatest impact should come as a defender, not a rebounder.

Donovan Mitchell Under 3.5 Assists (+114) at FanDuel Sportsbook
The Knicks are well aware that Mitchell has to consistently carry the scoring load for his team to win postseason games. Even though he took 20.7 field goals per game, those looks have been tough, and he’s been forced to kick the ball to his teammates.
The problem with Mitchell moving the rock is that the Cavaliers’ role players (and co-star) have not knocked down their shots. Mitchell could understandably be a very selfish player tonight, but even if he isn’t, the Knicks have been fine rotating and closing out, while the Cavs haven’t made their shots.
