Jayson Tatum redeemed his team after dropping Game 2 to the Miami Heat, but he is yet to secure the series in Boston’s favor. When Game 4 tips off in Miami, Tatum will pursue victory to bring his team within a win of progressing to the Second Round.
In three games against the Heat, Tatum has averaged 24.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists on 42.6% shooting but a dismal 23.8% from three-point range. In his Game 3 victory against the Heat, Tatum put up 22 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists on 37.5% from the field.
Tatum is a -105 to score over 26.5 points on Monday night. He’s scored more than 26.5 points in one of his three games this series and in 35 regular season appearances. With the opportunity to take control of the series before heading back to Boston, expect Tatum to put on a classic performance to swing the series heavily in the Celtics’ favor.
Bet on Jayson Tatum at DraftKings
Al Horford is central to the Boston Celtics’ success, especially considering his role off the bench. When Horford is aggressive offensively, the Celtics can control a game, something he’ll need to do in Game 4 against the Miami Heat.
Through Boston’s three games of the Eastern Conference First Round, Horford has averaged 9.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.3 threes per game in 23.6 minutes per game. In his last match, Horford put up nine points, six rebounds, and one three in 22 minutes of Boston’s Game 3 victory.
Horford is a +142 to hit over 1.5 threes when he faces the Heat on Monday night. He’s hit over 1.5 threes in one of his last three games and 33 regular-season performances this season. Horford returned to form after his underwhelming Game 2 performance, so expect his enthusiasm on offense to be matched by improved production from deep.
Bet on Al Horford at DraftKings
Bam Adebayo, the driving force behind the Miami Heat throughout the regular season, has maintained his leadership role in the postseason despite an undermanned roster. As game 4 marks the last in Miami before the series shifts to Boston, the significance of Adebayo's performance cannot be overstated.
Through three games against the Celtics this postseason, Adebayo has averaged 21.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 55.1% shooting from the field. In the Heat's Game 3 loss, Adebayo contributed 20 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in 39 minutes.
Adebayo is a -105 to score over 19.5 points in Game 4 against the Celtics. He has scored more than 19.5 points in every game this series and in 39 regular-season games. The Heat will be desperate to level the series before returning to Boston, so expect Adebayo to maintain his offensive output.
Bet on Bam Adebayo at DraftKings
Heat rookie star Jaime Jaquez Jr. has been a revelation for Miami this season, and he’ll be asked to carry an even more significant burden than usual when he faces the Celtics on Monday night. While he’s performed admirably this series, Jaquez Jr. has maintained his inconsistent shooting stroke.
In three games against the Celtics this series, Jaquez Jr. is averaging 14.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.0 three per game on 40.5% shooting and 27.3% from three. He put up 12 points, five rebounds, five assists, and no threes in the Heat’s 20-point Game 3 loss.
Jaquez Jr. is a +164 to score under 0.5 threes against the Celtics in Game 4. He has scored under 0.5 threes in two of his three games this series and in 30 of his regular-season appearances. Expect Boston to exploit the rookie’s shooting struggles, something he’s maintained for the entirety of the season.
