Over 54.5 (-109) at Caesars Sportsbook
As we mentioned in the intro, the Lions and Cowboys have been elite on offense. The Cowboys lead the NFL in yards gained per game (393.1) and rank second in scoring (29.3). The Lions haven’t been far behind, ranking third in yards (376.3) and scoring (29.2).
The Lions have been the better defense this season, but it is no longer the elite unit they once were. The Cowboys have been one of the league’s worst defenses, but have looked far better since trading for Quinnen Williams. However, they remain far from great. These defenses will be unable to contain the offenses, leading to a shootout on Thursday night.
Dallas is the hotter team, but we expect the Lions to fight hard at home. Their Week 13 loss to Green Bay likely ended their hopes of an NFC North title, and they could miss the playoffs altogether if they lose to the Cowboys.

Dak Prescott 280+ Passing Yards (+103) at Caesars Sportsbook
After being sidetracked by injuries, Dak Prescott has returned to being an NFL MVP contender in 2025. He is second in the NFL with 3,261 yards, despite Ceedee Lamb missing time with an injury.
Prescott faced the Eagles and Chiefs over the last two weeks and surpassed 320 yards in both. With George Pickens and Ceedee Lamb both healthy and playing well, we expect to see several more 300-yard performances this season, including on Thursday night.
The Lions' pass defense has been a problem in 2025. They are 17th in passing yards allowed per game (212.5) and 20th in opposing passer rating (95.0). We saw their struggles on display last week, when they allowed Jordan Love to pass for 234 yards and four touchdowns. Prescott is a far more prolific passer, so expect even better numbers from him against this struggling Detroit defense.

Jahmyr Gibbs Over 76.5 Rush Yards (-113) at Caesars Sportsbook
We believe Gibbs is the best running back in football, despite splitting carries with David Montgomery. He is fourth in the NFL with 1,019 yards and ten touchdowns while averaging an elite 5.8 YPC.
Consistency has been an issue, but he will face a tough Cowboys run defense. Dallas allowed an underwhelming Kansas City backfield to average 5.2 YPC on the ground last week. They have been better than they were to start the season, but not by enough to contain a back as explosive as Gibbs.
Last season, Gibbs faced a better Cowboys defense and averaged 5.3 YPC. That only resulted in 63 yards, but we expect to see a far higher total in prime time this week.
