McLuck is a brand new free-to-play social casino that launched in early 2023. The site hosts games from some of the top online gaming software providers in the world, including Pragmatic Play, 3 Oaks, and NetEnt, with a special focus on slots.
Best of all, you can claim real cash prizes, with no purchase required. The games at McLuck can be played using one of two virtual currencies: Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins. When you play with GC, it’s like using play money and you can’t redeem them for prizes. With SC, however, you can redeem your winnings for cash prizes.
Our experts have gone through McLuck with a fine-toothed comb and we’ve got a full report right here, including everything we like about the site and where we think it could improve.

In a single sentence, we’re big fans of McLuck.
We’ve been following the social and sweepstakes casino boom closely over the last couple of years, and we’ve seen big improvements in the whole industry over that time. McLuck feels like another step forward.
The software is detailed, modern, and generally very well-designed. We remember, in very recent years, when social casinos felt noticeably behind traditional real money casinos in terms of design and software - but not anymore.
We’re going to get into everything in more detail below, but McLuck is strong across the board, from the games and customer support to the bonuses.
This is right in our wheelhouse. The team here at WSN have multiple decades of experience in the world of online gambling and we were in on the ground floor of the social casino craze that has cropped up in recent years in the US.
We understand the nuances of social casinos, how the model works, and how you can get the most out of these types of platforms - and we put this knowledge to use in every site we review. Check out our other social casino reviews for more of a sense of how we weigh up the pros and cons of different sites.
McLuck is legal in every single US state, with the exception of Washington, Nevada, Kentucky, Idaho, Georgia, and Alabama.
McLuck is one of the best social casinos in the US, but if you're looking for alternatives, here are some more of our favorite sites.

McLuck is a social casino, which also includes sweepstakes play. All of the games - in both GC and SC modes - are available to play for free, with no purchase required to join or start playing.
Gold Coins are associated with playing in standard mode. Any GC winnings can only be used to play games at McLuck, and can’t be redeemed for prizes.
Sweepstakes Coins are associated with playing in sweepstakes mode, and your winnings can be redeemed for prizes.
You get both GC and SC for free in lots of different ways.
For a start, you’ll get 7,500 GC + 2.5 SC as soon as you create your account, as a welcome bonus. You’ll also get 2,500 GC + 0.25 SC as a 24 log-in bonuses, just for signing into your account.
McLuck has a weekly draw that randomly hands out free SC to lucky members, as well as a Refer a Friend program which can earn you SC.
You can find regular coin giveaways on social media, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. You can even send a handwritten request via mail to receive SC.
In the case of Gold Coins, you can also purchase additional packages of Coins if your free supply is running low, or you just want more. If you do, you usually receive some Sweeps Coins as a free bonus.
However, Sweeps Coins can never be simply purchased in the way that Gold Coins can. This is due to the laws surrounding sweepstakes casinos.
Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for prizes, either cash or gift cards. You can only redeem Sweeps Coins that you have won (that is, coins you have used to play the games), as opposed to Coins you received for free.
The redemption process is fairly straightforward. One Sweepstakes Coin corresponds to $1 in prizes, and you need to have accumulated a minimum of 75 eligible SC to request a cash redemption. Gift card redemptions are available at lower rates.
For security reasons, McLuck only sends cash prizes to a bank or bank account held in your name, which must match the name on your bank card (if you previously used it to purchase GC) and the name you used to sign up to McLuck. It takes a couple of days before redemption requests are processed.
Social casinos like McLuck share some things in common with real money casinos, but plenty of differences too.
Let’s start with the latter. From a legal perspective, the platforms are totally different. Social and sweepstakes casinos don’t offer real money gambling and they don’t require a gambling license to operate. You can’t “deposit” and “withdraw” money at a social casino in the same way you can at a real money casino.
This is why they are so much more widely available than real money casinos.
However, the actual platforms and the games themselves can feel very similar to social casinos and real money casinos. At McLuck, for instance, the gaming software comes from the same companies that power many of the top real-money casinos, like Pragmatic Play and NetEnt. You can even play versions of iconic games like Starburst.
Social casinos are all about bonuses and fun promotions, and McLuck delivers big time. Here’s the full lowdown.
First up, everyone who creates an account will be given 7,500 GC along with 2.5 SC. They both get added to your account immediately, ready to start playing.
Second, as part of your welcome bonus, you are also given the option to make your first Gold Coin purchase with a 60% discount. For $9.99, you can purchase 50,000 Gold Coins and receive 25 Sweepstakes Coins for free. All in all, it’s a good welcome offer
Every single day you log in, you get 2,500 GC + 0.25 SC added to your account. It’s definitely the easiest way to keep the free flow of coins coming.
Like lots of social casinos, McLuck hosts regular Sweepstakes Coin giveaways on different social media platforms. The trick here is simply to make sure you’re following the site on as many platforms as possible, and to jump when the opportunity arises.
McLuck has an easy-to-use Refer a Friend program which can earn you up to 100 SC. Everyone who signs up receives a personalized referral link, which you can send to friends. Any time someone uses your link to sign up and goes on to purchase 50,000 Gold Coins, you receive 25 SC. You can get up to an additional 75 SC if they make purchases worth $1,400.

Signing up is nice and easy. You’ll find the sign-up button as soon as you open McLuck.com, which gives you the option to create an account via your existing Facebook or Google credentials.
Alternatively, you can type in the details manually. Here’s what you’ll need:
You’ll also need to confirm your age, that you are in a state where McLuck accepts players (basically not Washington, Nevada, Kentucky, Idaho, Georgia, or Alabama), and that you accept the site’s terms and conditions.
That’s it! The whole process took us under a minute.
First and foremost, Mcluck feels like a slick, attractive platform from a design point of view. That is not to be underestimated, many of the most popular social casinos are fun but have a kind of retro, 8-bit aesthetic. McLuck, in contrast, is modern and impressive.
The main lobby shows you the games, which are split up into different categories. You can also search for games via a search bar. Everything is logically laid out and easy to browse, with a menu on the left side of the screen that directs you to different sections of the site.
There’s a “live chat” button, which in reality is operated by a bot if you haven’t yet purchased Coins, which unlocks the real live chat. Nevertheless, it’s still a useful feature that points you in the direction of articles and answers simple questions you have about the site well.
The only issue we found was with a quick link to download the McLuck app, which wouldn’t work for us. The app is also not yet available in the App Store or Google Play Store - we expect these are teething problems and hope they will be addressed soon.
You can always access McLuck via your device’s browser anyway. The software works just as well on mobile, and the games are smooth and clear on the smaller screen.
The gaming menu at McLuck is truly excellent if you like slots. If you’re looking for a deeper range of games, not so much. Let’s start with the positives.
The games at McLuck are powered by some excellent software providers, including Pragmatic Play and NetEnt. You can filter the list by providers too, which is always a plus.
The variety of slots is excellent and includes classic three-reelers, Megaways, hold-and-win games, cascading reels, and plenty of games with interesting bonus rounds and specials. The last thing you want is for a menu of slots to feel samey and repetitive, and this is absolutely not something McLuck is guilty of.
When you click a game it gives you a little fact file before it launches, including the volatility rating, which we like.
There are four separate progressive jackpots in play for both Gold Coin mode and Sweepstakes Coin mode. In Sweepstakes mode, you need to opt-into the jackpot each time you play, which involves spending an additional 0.10 SC on every spin. You can see the jackpots ticking up in the lobby.
Now for the downside: McLuck doesn’t have any non-slot-based games. There are social casinos out there that have much more variety, including table games like blackjack and roulette, bingo, and video poker to name a few.
If slots are what you’re looking for, McLuck is great. If you want a more varied selection of games, not so much.
Purchasing Gold Coins at McLuck is easy but with room for improvement. During our review, the only option for payment was via credit cards or debit cards. This is fine by us, and will likely make sense for the vast majority of users.
However, in an ideal world, we’d like to see more payment methods added, like bank transfers and e-wallet payments. It’s early days for McLuck, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see these added down the line.
The actual payment process is very straightforward. During our tests, the payment went through instantly and we received our Gold Coins plus free Sweepstakes Coins right away.
Method | Purchase | Redemption | Processing Time | Minimum Purchase | Max Purchase | Fees |
Credit Cards / Debit Cards | Yes | No | Instant | $1.99 | $299.99 | No |
Yes. As a social casino, McLuck is not subject to the same legal requirements as a real money casino and operates in the vast majority of US states, totally legally. The company fulfills all the requirements to operate the sweepstakes model, including only processing redemptions in the name of registered users.
McLuck does not require a gambling license, since the site does not offer real-money gambling. The platform is owned and operated by B2Services OÜ, a company based in Estonia, Europe.
McLuck is pretty new on the scene, and not much information is available out there about B2Services OÜ. From what we’ve seen so far, we have no issues with the site’s safety and security. The site uses “electronic security systems” to protect personal data, which isn’t shared with unauthorized third parties. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor.
Picking up the thread from the previous section, the truth is Mcluck just hasn’t been around long enough to really cultivate a reputation, positive or negative. There isn’t a lot of detail about the site or its owners available, and we haven’t found any history of negative user experience during our research.
Basically, it’s early days but all signs are good so far.
From an experiential perspective, we found the user experience very positive during our review. The software works well, payments are smooth and the customer support available is good.
Customer service at McLuck is good in general, but we’d like to see it tweaked to be even better.
The Help Section is very good. It’s easy to find in the main menu and has a detailed list of FAQs and articles that explain how the site works very well. Likewise, the section that explains sweepstakes rules: it really goes deep and provides a lot of detail on the model.
If you want to get in contact with McLuck directly you have two choices. There is email support available, including via a form in the Help Section, and the customer support team responds fairly quickly in our experience.
There is also a “live chat” service, which is actually an automated bot that directs you to info it finds in the Help Section. Once you make a qualifying Gold Coin purchase, you get access to a real live chat service.
Although it’s great to have live support, we’d prefer to see it available for everyone all the time.
Our experts were generally very impressed with McLuck, along with a few areas that can be improved.
From a usability perspective, the site is excellent. It’s well-designed, with modern software and fast, smooth gameplay. Payments are simple, and customer support is mostly very good. We like the promotions, like Refer a Friend, and how many different ways there are to pick up free Sweepstakes Coins.
From a slot perspective, the gaming menu is excellent. The variation of different slots, and the fact that they are made by really well-regarded software providers with longstanding experience in the industry, is impressive.
On the flipside, there are basically no non-slot-style games, which will definitely be a downside for some users. We’d also like to see some more payment methods added.
Overall, it’s a thumbs up from us.
McLuck lets you redeem winning Sweepstakes Coins for cash prizes, at a rate of $1 per 1 SC.
You can get free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins in lots of ways at McLuck, including via daily login bonuses, social media giveaways, friend referrals, and written requests in the mail.
Yes, for the time being, McLuck is only available in the US.
McLuck is available in 43 states and the District of Columbia. The exceptions are Washington, Idaho, Kentucky, Georgia, Nevada, and Alabama.
McLuck doesn’t have any table games, only slots.
At the moment you don’t need a promo code to claim a bonus on McLuck.
I am a huge sports fan; locally, many know me as the guy who does the PA for our high school football team on Friday nights. Having grown up in Michigan, I am a sports fan of all the Detroit teams, and at the college level, I love Michigan State sports.
