There is no VIP program, which is something Spree could definitely add in the future. Loyalty programs provide players with a goal to work towards, along with predictable bonuses based on how much they play. I’ve found it to be a fun feature at other sites, and I’d like to see it added here.

My experience with Spree has been very positive due to its modern and responsive design. The sleek color scheme and general aesthetic makes it stand out from some of the more cookie-cutter social casinos I've played at before. Desktop Experience 

I found navigating the desktop site intuitive and easy. The games are neatly divided into slots and casino sections, preventing the homepage from becoming cluttered with categories and making it simple to find specific games. 

However, I did notice a bug with the slot game categories, as I couldn't scroll to the end of the list. Despite this, the games loaded quickly and each provided clear instructions. It’s a great way to improve the experience and arm users with useful information at a glance. I do think they should add the RTP here though. 

Unlike many other social and sweeps casinos, you don’t toggle between GC and SC mode at Spree. Instead, both balances are always visible and you simply choose which currency you want to play with every time you open a game. I like this: it feels more straightforward. 

Mobile Experience 

Although Spree doesn't have a dedicated app, the mobile experience was smooth and comparable to the desktop version. I tested it on my iPhone 14 using both Safari and Chrome, and both browsers performed well. The site maintained its responsiveness and sleek design, with no noticeable differences from the desktop version.

Overall, my user experience on Spree has been exceptional across both desktop and mobile platforms. The site’s modern design, easy navigation, and responsive performance make it a pleasure to use. The software is my favorite aspect of Spree.

Spree boasts an impressive selection of 704 slot games from 15 top developers like Pragmatic Play and Evo Play. I noticed they advertised “750+” games at one point, but I counted just over 700 in total during my Spree review. 

The variety of themes is extensive, ranging from Wild West adventures to fishing escapades. One of my favorites is "Fire Stampede: Connect and Collect," which features high volatility and offers the chance to win up to 10,000 times your play amount. I got very lucky in my first few spins which added a nice windfall to my GC balance.

Another noteworthy game is a Spree exclusive called "Diamond Spree Explosion", a Spree-exclusive game by Ruby Play. This has its own personal and well designed trailer, which is the reason why I played it in the first place. The game was up to par with all the top developed games on the platform and I would highly recommend it. 

The slots on Spree provide engaging graphics and smooth gameplay across the board, making it easy to find something that suits your taste.

Having more than 700 slots is extremely impressive for a social casino. However, it's worth noting that Spree currently lacks jackpot slots, which is a downside for players seeking big win opportunities.

Table Games

In the table games section, Spree offers a much more limited selection. In fact, I only found one virtual table game, Texas Hold'em against a computer. While this game functions well, it lacks the excitement of playing against live opponents. If you particularly enjoy poker or want to practice, this game could be a good pick for you.

Generally speaking though, the table game selection is a weak point. The gaming menu is split up into two main categories: Slots and Casino.

However, I was kind of confused to find that the Casino section was also full of slot games and slot categories, as well as the single Texas Hold’em game and the live dealer tables. I think they could improve the organization here, and add some more table games. Blackjack, roulette, craps, keno, sic bo, even arcade or bingo games would all be welcome additions. 

At the moment, Spree is slots-heavy.

Live Dealer Games

Spree social casino stands out with its live dealer games, offering three options: Roulette, Baccarat, and Blackjack, which are all developed by Beter Live. Live dealer games are by no means a given at social casinos, so I was happy to have this (albeit, small) selection available. 

I played Blackjack and, despite losing a lot of Gold Coins, I had a very enjoyable experience. The dealer was interactive and engaging, adding a layer of fun that you don’t get with slots. 

The only part that was missing was a live chat, which is usually available at live tables in my experience. The chat in live dealer games is always one of the most communal aspects of the experience and it would’ve been nice to take part. 

Overall though, the presence of live dealer games, and the quality of the software, is a big plus point for Spree. 

Spree Social Casino Payments

Spree is a sweepstakes casino, which means you can enjoy the games without putting any money at risk. While GC purchases are available, they are not required to play and to enjoy the product.

Spree has a decent selection of payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay. The FAQ section referenced being able to use Skrill too, but that didn’t appear for me as an option in the cashier.

The transaction was smooth, and the funds were available in my account instantly. I chose to use my Visa card, and the transaction was pretty much exactly what you would expect. I just typed in my details and confirmed the payment.

I’ve seen social casinos that allow purchases of less than $5, so it would be nice to see some micro-packages for lower stakes players. However, I'm a big fan of the minimum redemption of just 10 SC for a $10 gift card, which is very user-friendly. For cash prizes, the minimum redemption is 75 SC.

For prize redemption, I started off by redeeming 10 Spree Coins for a gift card. The process was straightforward, and the code was sent to me by email a couple of hours later. This quick turnaround is competitive with other sweepstakes sites, where processing times can be longer.

My payment experience was smooth and without hassle. The higher minimum purchase amount might be a drawback for some users, but the low minimum redemption amount for gift cards is a definite advantage and one of the lowest I’ve seen.

Spree Casino Customer Support

Customer service on Spree casino has room for improvement.

To access support, you need to click the "Help Center" on the left-hand side menu of the lobby screen. This opens a new page with an FAQ section. Unfortunately, the FAQs are quite limited, with only two or three questions per section, and the information provided is not very detailed.

Spree doesn’t have live chat support.

You can submit an email support request, but the button is small and tucked away in the top right corner of the page, almost as if they don't want you to use it. When submitting a request, you'll need to provide your email, the topic of your inquiry, and your account number (found in the "Profile" section of the lobby).

You then fill out a description of your problem. However, when you select your issue, the description box is replaced with related FAQs, which open a new page when clicked. It feels like Spree is really trying to deter you from contacting them. 

After sending my request, I received a response via email within an hour from someone called Michaella, who asked for my full name, date of birth, and phone number before proceeding. It puzzled me why this information wasn't asked for when submitting the request. Despite providing the requested details straight away, Michaella never got back to me, and I was then contacted by a different agent (Mica) three days later.

My initial question was about alternative payment options to Visa and Mastercard as those seemed to be the only ones listed on the site, so it was strange that they didn’t answer directly and instead asked for more information. After thinking I had been ghosted, I got an email confirming the site also offers Skrill and Apple Pay as options - even though I couldn’t find the option for Skrill in the cashier. 

The absence of live chat support is a significant drawback. While not all platforms have implemented live chat, the lack of quality alternatives on Spree makes their customer service disappointing. My negative experience and the lack of effective support channels are why I rank their customer service so low.
