With just one loss on his record since joining the UFC, Malott is the -340 favorite with FanDuel for his bout with Burns this weekend. The Ontarian has won his last three successive fights, recording triumphs over Trevin Giles, Charles Radtke, and Kevin Holland. His last defeat was a knockout loss against Neil Magny at UFC 297 in January 2024.

Former Welterweight Championship contender Burns is currently on a four-fight skid, and hasn’t won since beating Jorge Masvidal at UFC 287 in April 2023. Long are the days when he was challenging Kamaru Usman for the belt, with the Brazilian having won just three of his eight bouts since that showdown, and falling down to No. 11 in the rankings.

Burns has faced some tough opposition of late, though, since Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena are both former champions. His two recent losses against Sean Brady (currently ranked No. 6) and Michael Morales (currently ranked No.3) prove he has gone up against some serious competition.

This will be a different level of difficulty for Malott, and he will likely be tested on the mat due to Burns’ strong grappling and submission skills. Malott will need to utilize his controlled striking to manage distance, while he’ll also prove to be no pushover on the ground. Burns’ experience at the elite level could make the difference, just as long as he doesn’t leave himself too open.

Quebecer Jourdain is looking to extend his two-fight win streak this weekend and enter the bantamweight rankings. He heads into the clash against Phillips as the -164 favorite with FanDuel, and with a pair of back-to-back submissions under his belt over Victor Henry and Davey Grant. The 30-year-old will be looking for a fast start to disrupt Phillips early, and is an aggressive finisher.

As for Phillips, he has lost his last two successive bouts against Rob Font and Vinicius Oliveira, meaning he has fallen outside of the rankings. Despite those recent defeats, he has previously picked up respectable victories over the likes of Pedro Munhoz, Raoni Barcelos, and Song Yadong. “The Matrix” can control the game on the ground if needed and make the most of his superb grappling. He also has solid boxing skills, making him a well-balanced fighter.

“Mango” is making his UFC debut on Saturday after finishing Samuel Silva inside the first round in Dana White’s Contender Series last September. Nallo is the -186 favorite with FanDuel against “The Black Country Badger”, who is taking on his 10th fight with the promotion. The 36-year-old will be leaning on his power and finishing ability to win this one early.

Herbert has just three UFC wins to his name, with a record of 3-5-1, and has just one victory over his last four bouts. He beat Rolando Bedoya by unanimous decision back in August 2024, but lost via split decision to Chris Padilla in his most recent fight last March. The English fighter is a former Cage Warriors champion with experience against elite fighters such as Renato Moicano and Ilia Topuria.

Jasudavicius is hoping to get back in the win column after she was finished by Manon Fiorot in Vancouver last October. Prior to that, she had won five straight fights. The Canadian is currently the -330 favorite with FanDuel for her matchup against Silva. Brazilian opponent Silva has lost two of her last three fights, including a defeat against Maycee Barber in her last bout by unanimous decision.

This is an important battle in the women’s flyweight division, with Jasudavicius ranked No. 7 and Silva ranked No. 9. The latter went four fights unbeaten to begin her UFC career, but has stalled of late. She’ll need to use her solid grappling ability to try and limit the impressive standup game of Jasudavicius. However, the Ontarian is a strong grappler herself, has a takedown defense of 75%, and knows how to control fights.

Moises enters the Octagon with plenty of UFC experience under his belt, but with an incredibly mixed promotional record of 8-7. His recent form mirrors that completely, having lost two and won two of his last four. He’s the +106 underdog with FanDuel, as he faces 25-year-old Gauge Young who is 1-1 with the UFC.

Young recorded his maiden UFC triumph via unanimous decision against Maheshate last August, bouncing back from an opening loss to Evan Elder. As for 31-year-old Moises, his last win came against Trey Ogden last January.

The opening fight on the main card sees Buzukja meet Barbosa in the featherweight division. “The Great” hasn’t quite lived up to his name since joining the promotion in 2023, going 1-3. Prospects don’t look great for him here, either, with Barbosa listed as the -520 favorite with FanDuel.

“Ticoto” is making his UFC debut this weekend after securing a first-round knockout against Damon Wilson in Dana White’s Contender Series. He’s currently on a four-fight win streak, having won his last three bouts with the LFA.
