Aces vs. Fever Betting Odds for Friday, September 13
How much can things change in a couple of days?
These teams just played in Indianapolis Wednesday night. The time of day, the court, and probably many of the fans in attendance will be the same. Rosters will be the same; lineups, too (probably).
Vegas opened at -3.5 on Wednesday but closed at -4.5. This time, the line opened at -6, but it's already down to -5 for some books. Here's the latest betting line for Aces vs. Fever tonight.

Aces vs. Fever Preview
Wednesday’s win was not just any old win for the Aces; much more than the team’s third of the season vs. the Fever—it was the 14th consecutive win vs. Indiana. The last time the Fever beat the Aces was during the 2019 season (on Aug.27, 86-71. Vegas leads the all-time series 32-21.
The OVER is 2-8 in the last ten.
Aces Preview
-
23-13 SU, 16-20 ATS
-
OVER: 16-20
-
On the Road: 12-6 SU, 8-10
A’ja Wilson made up for missing Sunday’s game vs. the Liberty by not only playing Wednesday night against the Fever but by breaking the single-season scoring record set by Jewel Loyd last season. Wilson passed Loyd’s mark of 939 points late in the first half, breaking the record Loyd set in 38 games in 35.
With 956 points in the season and four games left in the regular season, she should become the first player to surpass 1,000 points in a single season. Is there a chance she does it against the Fever tonight?
Wilson has scored 40+ on two occasions this season: 41 vs. Phoenix (Sept. 1) and 42 vs. Dallas (Aug. 27). She tied Liz Cambage’s single-game record of 53 last season vs. the Atlanta Dream. Vegas has yet to lock down the No. 4 seed, with Seattle one game behind; the two play on Tuesday.
So, the Aces will not look to play a conservative game against the Fever tonight. That could mean the most dangerous offensive weapon in the WNBA may go for an epic night against one of the league’s worst defenses and claim her place in WNBA history.

Fever Preview
-
19-18 SU, 20-17 ATS
-
OVER: 24-13
-
At Home: 11-7 SU, 10-8 ATS
With three games left, there is no way the Fever can catch the Seattle Storm and move up to the No. 5 spot. Even if the Storm were to lose all four remaining games and Indiana wins the last three, the two teams would have identical records, and Seattle holds the tiebreaker.
However, with a 1.5-game lead on Phoenix, they could still fall back to the No. 7 seed, setting up a date with Minnesota or Connecticut in the first round (Indiana went 1-3 vs. both). But a win could do a lot more than just move the team one game closer to locking down the No. 6 seed.
A win over the defending champions would give the Fever a tremendous confidence boost heading into the postseason.
Of course, to have even a slim chance of upsetting the Aces, the Fever needs to contain A’ja Wilson. But Wilson is averaging 28 points and 12 rebounds per game against Indiana this season.

Aces vs. Fever Pick
-
My Pick: Aces -6 (-108) at FanDuel Sportsbook
While Indiana has played well once play resumed, they have not shut down an elite scorer like Wilson (or any scoring threat, for that matter). But they’ve had the highest-scoring offense in the league since the break, making it possible for them to win down the stretch.
But to beat the team leading the league in scoring this season (the Aces), they need more than offense. Las Vegas has beaten the Fever by 19, 19, and 11 points this season. They’ll cover a 6-point spread for this game.
