The WNBA returns on Saturday with two games after taking the Fourth of July off. The Indiana Fever hosts the LA Sparks, and the Golden State Valkyries take on the Minnesota Lynx.  Sportsbooks will, of course, have full WNBA Player Props menus for both games.

Caitlin Clark is not expected to be back, but that doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of intriguing WNBA player props worth betting on. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite markets for both games.

Best WNBA Prop Bets Today July 5

Los Angeles Sparks vs. Indiana Fever

Kelsey Plum, UNDER 24.5 Pts + Ast (-106) at FanDuel

The Indiana defense is in the zone these last couple of games, shutting down Napheesa Collier in a dominant win over Minnesota followed by a big win over the Aces. A’ja Wilson still recorded 29 points, but Plum is not the dynamic scoring threat Wilson is.

When the Sparks played the Fever in Indianapolis on June 26, she had 21 points, three rebounds, and six assists. But I expect the Fever defense to lock down on her like they did Collier. They will not let her get close to those numbers this time.

Aliyah Boston, OVER 27.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-114) at FanDuel

  • To Record a Double Double (+150) at FanDuel

Boston has been coming through for the Fever big the last couple of weeks with 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. She scored over 20 in four of seven games, recorded a double-double in four, and has been making 61.4% of her shots.

Indiana’s game vs. the Sparks (June 26) was her worst shooting night in that timeframe (4-13, 30.8%). Given how the team has clicked over the last couple of games, she will probably have a much better night from the floor and pull down double-digit rebounds.

She could cover this OVER with points and rebounds alone, but once again, her assists will be icing on the cake of another solid night.

Kelsey Mitchell, OVER 2.5 Made Threes (+118) at FanDuel

Mitchell has been on fire from behind the arc, shooting 53.8% the last couple of weeks (since June 19 vs. Golden State). She had 3+ in five of those seven, including a 4-9 night vs. the Sparks. She was 0-5 vs. the Lynx, but Minnesota has the No. 2 perimeter defense.

LA’s ranks No. 9. With Clark likely still out, she’ll take the lead and will keep shooting. Against a lackluster Sparks defense, she’ll make 3+.

Golden State Valkyries vs. Minnesota Lynx

Napheesa Collier, OVER 33.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-102) at FanDuel

  • To Record a Double-Double (+145) at FanDuel

Collier had 24 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists on June 1 vs. the Valkyries in San Francisco. Golden State has one of the better defenses in the league, but the Valkyries are much better at home (73.8 ppg allowed) than on the road (82.8 ppg allowed).

Collier is playing like an MVP. If you want to be cautious, take her to score OVER 20.5 points at -128; she’s had 20+ points in 11 of the 15 games she’s played in. But I like the price with the combo and the flexibility it allows in case she has an off night in any category.

Janelle Salaun, OVER 9.5 Points (+104) at FanDuel

Salaun was one of the more pleasant surprises of the season before stepping away from the WNBA for Eurobasket. She scored in double digits in half the games she played in before stepping away, but just once in her last four.

But with Kayla Thornton possibly still feeling the effects of the neck injury that knocked her out early vs. Seattle, the team may lean on Salaun more on the offensive end in her first game back.
