Phoenix Mercury vs. Washington Mystics
Alyssa Thomas, OVER 23.5 Pts + Reb (-114) at FanDuel
Thomas has been playing at an MVP level in recent weeks, which is a significant reason the Mercury have a chance to be the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. She doesn’t consistently score a lot (16 points per game), but she records 8-10 rebounds and assists every night, too.
Washington was, at one point in the season, a team with playoff potential. But they have lost seven in a row and 12 of their last 15. The Mercury have too much to lose by dropping a game they should easily win; Thomas will make sure they do just that.

Dallas Wings vs. Golden State Valkyries
Paige Bueckers, UNDER 16.5 Points (-118) at FanDuel
Bueckers has played really well all season long despite being on a team that has been going nowhere fast. She’s fifth in the league in scoring with 18.9 points per game and averaged 20.3 in ten games in August. But tonight, she faces the No. 1 home defense in the league.
Last month, Golden State allowed 70.9 per game at home (seven games).
She’s gone OVER this TOTAL in six of her last ten games, but only two of her last five. Now, she did go OVER it in two of three prior games vs. Golden State, but scored nine in the most recent (Aug. 24).
With the Valkyries fighting for playoff seeding, don’t expect much from Bueckers.

Minnesota Lynx vs. Las Vegas Aces
Napheesa Collier, OVER 21.5 Points (-122) at FanDuel
Collier has gone OVER this TOTAL in seven of her last 12 games, but in only two of four since coming off the injured list. She faced Vegas on three prior occasions this season, scoring OVER 21.5 points just once (July 25).
But Collier is looking to get playoff-ready and will not hold back against Wilson and the Aces. As long as she clocks around 25 minutes, she’ll go OVER this TOTAL.

A’ja Wilson, OVER 22.5 Points (-120) at FanDuel
After some early-season struggles, Wilson has been turning it up on the scoreboard lately. She averaged 25.5 points per game in August and averaged .1 of a point less than the league leader, Collier (23.5 to 23.4), for the season. So, it’s a little surprising that her TOTAL is set at 22.5.
Then again, Minnesota has one of the better defenses in the league, and she only scored 15 and 10 points in her two prior games vs. the Lynx.
Las Vegas has not lost since the last time they played Minnesota (Aug. 2). In that 12-game span, Wilson has averaged 26.8 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. A loss means nothing to Minnesota, but a win keeps Wilson and the Aces in the conversation for the No. 2 seed.

Jackie Young, OVER 1.5 Made Threes (-102) at FanDuel
Young missed both attempts in her last game but made four of six in the game prior and OVER 1.5 in seven of 13 games this month. With Minnesota allowing teams to make 39.7% of three-point attempts in August, Young would be smart to shoot early and often from three-point range (making at least two).
