BetMGM Bonus: Win $150 Betting on the Round of 64 in North Carolina

North Carolina launched online sports betting on March 11, adding a long-awaited web market to join its retail sports betting market that was established in 2019. The recent launch means that the Tar Heel State will be one of 38 that can accept bets during March Madness, which is expected to produce a record $2.72 billion in wagers at legal sportsbooks.

Any part of those wagers that are placed by first-time BetMGM customers in North Carolina will guarantee additional winnings of $150 in prizes, so long as they use promo code WSNMGM.

Follow these steps to claim the new-user prize:

  1. Visit the BetMGM sportsbook and click “Register”

  2. Enter code WSNMGM into the appropriate box, along with your personal information

  3. Deposit at least $10

  4. Bet at least $5 on Gonzaga vs. McNeese

  5. Win $150 in bonus bets

Bonus bets can be thought of as tokens that are native to BetMGM. They cannot be withdrawn for cash or transferred to another sportsbook but they can be used to fund bets in eligible markets at BetMGM until their expiration date.

Bonus bets will be added to customers’ accounts as soon as they finish processing. They will be disseminated in six $25 increments, allowing users to split them up on different wagers or send the house at their favorite line.

This deal is for first-time BetMGM users in North Carolina, though there are also new-user deals in other legal states.

The heightened stakes don’t end as soon as the first wager is made. BetMGM offers ongoing deals for returning customers, such as boosted parlays, profit boots, referral bonuses, and more.

BetMGM is legal in all of the following states: AZ, CO, IN, IA, IL, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, NJ, NC, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY, and Washington D.C.

North Carolina BetMGM Bonus: Bet Gonzaga vs. McNeese to Win Big

Mark Few and Gonzaga finished as national runner-ups in 2017 and 2021 but are still searching for their first NCAA Tournament championship. They enter this tournament as the fifth seed and with less hype than in years past, though they’re still a very talented squad.

Led by a pair of transfers in Ryan Nembhard (12.9 points, 6.7 assists) and Graham Ike (16.5 points, 7.2 rebounds), the Bulldogs have one of the most efficient offenses in the country. They shoot 51.6 percent from the field and rank ninth in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Gonzaga lost by double-digits to UConn and Purdue and also lost its season series to Saint Mary’s, though it earned a standout win against Kentucky.

McNeese might be small in name, but the Cowboys were fierce on the court. They went 30-3, which was just behind UConn and James Madison (31-3) for the best record in the country. They also enter the tournament riding an 11-game win streak and should have all of the confidence in the world.

The team shoots 49.3 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from beyond the arc, giving it the offensive punch to hang with Gonzaga. They’re led by senior guard Shahada Wells, who averaged 17.8 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.5 rebounds and shot 40.2 percent from three-point land.

Gonzaga is a -6.5 favorite on the spread and -300 on the moneyline. McNeese is +6.5 and +240 on the moneyline, according to BetMGM Sportsbook.
