In the Round of 32, UCN beat Michigan State 85-69, while Alabama beat Grand Canyon 72-61. UNC’s RJ Davis had 20 points, and Armando Bacot had 18 points. For Alabama, Mark Sears led the way with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
The Crimson Tide have the best offense in the nation averaging just shy of 92 points per game. That said, their defense suffers. They allow nearly 82 points per game.
Both teams have great offenses, and while Alabama is better, UNC’s defense is simply a better unit.
