With the legalization of mobile sports betting in the state of North Carolina comes the ability for their residents to wager on their favorite in-state teams during March Madness. North Carolina and Duke are expected to make a run as two competitive teams with title aspirations, bringing added excitement with the ability to wager on them to win it all.

It’s not too late to wager on them either, even if you have not signed up with a sportsbook. Better yet, sportsbooks are offering new NC users sign-up bonuses to get a head start before tournament play kicks off. FanDuel Sportsbook is one of the apps offering a new user sign-up bonus, giving new users in the state of North Carolina up to $250 in bonus bets should they create an account and wager as little as $5 with their first initial wager.

No promo code is required, being as simple as signing up and making a minimum wager of at least $5 with your first wager. After making a wager of at least $5, FanDuel will credit your account with $250 in bonus bets. The bonus bets can be dispersed throughout multiple wagers and markets, or can all be used on one big bet. Bonus bets can not be withdrawn and must be used before the listed expiration date.

For those of you who have not signed up yet with the FanDuel sportsbook in other legal sports betting states, FanDuel is also offering a new user sign-up bonus to give you a head start ahead of March Madness. New users can receive $150 in bonus bets after creating an account with the FanDuel sportsbook and making an initial wager of at least $5 with their first wager. That wager can be used towards Wednesday’s First Four matchup between Grambling State and Montana State as both teams try to make it to the round of 64.

Grambling State vs. Montana State Prediction

Don’t let the 16 seed fool you, Montana State’s offense can strike fear into the very best of them with their boom or bust potential. The Bobcats mirror the Crimson Tide’s offensive philosophy in that they want to get out and run as soon as they haul in a rebound and look for a high-quality three-point attempt against a scrambling defense in transition.

When open, expect them to knock it down as a very successful three-point shooting team. The issue is that when the Bobcats can not get a quick-paced three then they crumble in a halfcourt set. A lack of interior offense and ability to create separation at the perimeter plays a major factor towards their lowly 234th placed metric in Adjusted Offensive Efficiency per Kenpom.

Luckily for them, Grambling State produces little to no success when on the offensive end and at a very slow pace that minimizes their number of offensive possessions. Should Montana State get out to a lead early, then that puts added pressure on the Tigers to play at a pace that is uncomfortable for them. Grambling State ranks 297th in Adjusted Offensive Efficiency and 314th in Tempo. Back Montana State at no higher than -4 as they look to set a scoring pace too fast for the Tigers to keep up with.
