Abdullah Mason vs. Albert Bell 2026 07 05

The boxing betting prices above won’t tell you which boxer will win, but they do show how the traders expect this contest to play out in Cleveland this weekend. Prices come from the BetMGM mobile app, and are correct at the time of writing. Please remember that boxing betting odds are subject to change. In most cases, I’d say bet early to get the top offer.

It’s plain to see that the oddsmakers working for online gambling giant BetMGM have high hopes for Mason. They chalk him up as the favourite, and the most likely winner. It’s not a foregone conclusion, of course, and prices are little more than the bookies’ educated guess. Plenty of armchair fans will prefer to take a shot on the underdog off a small stake.

Playing the fight-winner market gives you a one-in-three chance of calling the result and ending with a profit. Read this article, do your homework, and select the boxer you expect to win. If they deliver, you’ll secure a profit. If the opponent is declared champion or the night ends in a draw, your wager loses and the sportsbook will keep your stake.

Both Mason and Bell are unbeaten fighters, but let’s see how the odds impact the potential returns on these hopefuls with our working examples.

A $90 bet on Abdullah to live up to the pre-fight hype and add another win to his record pays just a $20 profit. Yes, Mason is a talented fighter, but is the reward worth the risk? Many shrewd bettors, myself included, think there’s a better way to approach this one.

Place a $30 bet on Bell winning to upset the crowd, and you’ll rake in a $100 profit. That’ll be much more appealing to followers of the value. Risking $30 to win $100 beats staking $90 to win just $20, but there’s more to consider in the specials.

Mason Form and Figures

Abdullah Mason arrives at the Wolstein Centre with a professional boxing record showing 20 wins from as many starts. The 22-year-old American from Ohio will enjoy the backing of the support inside the arena, with millions more following on DAZN. He’s the current WBO world champion, the bookies favourite to retain his prize, and he has a solid chance to shine.

Making his debut back in November 2021 with a second-round TKO, Mason quickly climbed the rankings, collecting respected awards along the way. Abdullah won the belt in his last appearance, beating England’s Sam Noakes on points in Saudi Arabia. That contest ended 115-113, 117-111, 115-113, with all three scoring judges giving the fight to Mason.

Flying high from that confidence-boosting title win, I have high hopes for Abdullah. I’m looking forward to seeing what improvements he has made this year, and if he has the skills needed to remain a world champion following a huge test against another unbeaten boxer.

Bell Form and Figures

Albert Bell is a 33-year-old fighter from Toledo, Ohio. His record currently stands at 28 wins from 28 fights, with 9 stoppages. He arrived on the scene in 2013, with his most recent contest recorded in August 2025. How will that layoff affect his chances of winning and leaving with the world title belt? The traders expect Prince to fall just short in the main event.

Bell is currently ranked seventh in the United States, and 16th in the world. The challenger knows both numbers will improve overnight if he beats Mason and takes the strap back to his gym and adoring fans in Ohio. It’s worth knowing that Albert’s journey has earned him several ranking titles, including the IBF International and NABA gong at lightweight.

On paper, Bell has every chance of beating Mason, upsetting the bookies, and winning the belt. Doing so would set up a money-spinning second half of the year, when he’ll be right in the mix with all the categories’ top names.

Mason vs. Bell Prediction

The bookies fancy Mason to win this bout, but I wouldn’t be in a rush to write off Bell.

The challenger hasn’t been nearly as active as he should’ve been in recent years, certainly if he wants to compete at this level. But he isn’t here simply to make up the numbers. Bell has never lost, and his form suggests he should have no troubles going the 12-round distance. He completed 10 rounds in each of his last two bouts.

Mason is the champion, and has been much busier than his opponent, but his numbers also suggest a long night. Abdullah won the belt on points over 12 rounds in Riyadh on the undercard of Brian Norman Jr vs Devin Haney on Night of the Champions. That encourages me to stick with the trends, backing Mason to defend with another impressive points win.

You can bet on Mason vs Bell going more than 7.5 rounds or aim for a higher price and back the champion to win on points again. You’ll find that one in the method of victory market.
