Home Run Picks for Thursday, April 2

There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the three players we’re locked in on.

Drake Baldwin to Hit a Home Run (+425) at Caesars Sportsbook

During his 2025 rookie campaign, Drake Baldwin showed us why he was the Braves’ top prospect. The catcher played in 124 games, batting .274 with 19 home runs and 80 RBIs. He showed that he was ready despite being just 24.

Things haven’t changed in 2026, with Baldwin on track for a monster sophomore season. Through his first six games, the young catcher is batting .318 with three home runs and seven RBIs. He has played in each game, hitting second in the impressive Atlanta lineup.

Baldwin hasn’t faced Arizona starter Ryne Nelson before, but he made a strong impression on the Diamondbacks last season. He went 5-15 with two home runs against them in 2025, posting a 1.108 OPS.

The Braves’ catcher won’t be able to keep this up all season, but there is no reason not to ride the red-hot slugger’s hot start.

Luis Robert Jr. to Hit a Home Run (+475) at Caesars Sportsbook

While Luis Robert Jr. ended his time with the White Sox with a pair of lackluster seasons, we largely blame injuries and the team’s poor play for those struggles. We believe the second baseman who hit 38 home runs in 2023 is still in there and ready to be unleashed with a new team.

Robert has been a bright spot in the middle of the Mets lineup and has already hit one home run. We like him to add another tonight due to his ability to mash left-handed pitching. Over 151 career at-bats against left-handed starters, Robert has 35 home runs and a .530 slugging percentage. 

The left Robert will be facing is former Cy Young winner Robbie Ray. The large lefty remains a strong starter at 34, but remains vulnerable to the long ball. He allowed 22 runs last season and has allowed 30+ runs three times since 2019. With Robert seeing the ball well, we expect him to take Ray deep at least once on Thursday.

Willy Adames to Hit a Home Run (+525) at Caesars Sportsbook

With just three games today, we’re willing to lock in on Willy Adames for our third home run prop bet.

The shortstop took a lot of criticism last year after signing a massive deal with the Giants, but struggled at the plate over the first three months. That marred the former Brewers star's reputation, making it easy to forget how good he is.

Adames has hit 30+ home runs in two consecutive seasons and in three of his last four. While he isn’t good at getting on base or hitting for average, he can look like an MVP candidate when he gets hot. Considering he is showing signs of heating up, taking him as a home run prop bet could pay off in a big way.
