Best NBA Prediction Markets 2026 04 22

San Antonio Western Conference Champion (YES, 17 Cents)

The Spurs are not in the best spot right now. They lost Game 2 to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, evening up that series 1-1. They also lost Victor Wembanyama to a concussion in that game, creating some uncertainty about when he’ll be able to return to the court. With many likely to jump off San Antonio’s bandwagon, now could be a good time to buy them. The Spurs have a strong backcourt that can take the lead while Wembanyama is out.

Plus, unless it’s a serious concussion, there’s a good chance he’ll return before the end of the Portland series. If that happens, the Spurs are still on track to face Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Finals and have an excellent chance to knock off the reigning champs.

Detroit Wins Game 2 by Over 10.5 Points (NO, 56 Cents)

Can the Pistons bounce back after losing Game 1 to the Magic and win convincingly in Game 2? We’re going to lean against this happening. While the Pistons finished the regular season with the best record in the Eastern Conference, their young core lacks playoff experience. The pressure is on Detroit after losing Game 1, and the Pistons may not have the postseason experience to respond appropriately.

The Magic, on the other hand, has won seven of its last nine games and is riding a wave of momentum and confidence, making it hard to imagine Orlando losing Game 2 by double digits.

Oklahoma City vs. Phoenix Game 2 Over 110.5 First Half Points (YES, 51 Cents)

The Kalshi market is split evenly on this, but we’re leaning toward a high-scoring first half in Wednesday’s Game 2 between the Thunder and Suns. Phoenix endured a dreadful offensive performance in Game 1, shooting just 35% from the field in the game, which is what held them to just 44 points in the first half. The Sunds are too good to shoot that poorly for a second straight game.

Plus, Oklahoma City’s defensive intensity will drop a little after a comfortable win in Game 1. Of course, the Thunder will keep rolling offensively, and as long as the Suns are better, Game 2 figures to have a high-scoring first half.

At Least 2 First Round Series Sweeps (NO, 87 Cents)

Despite some lopsided results early in the playoffs, that doesn’t necessarily translate to multiple series sweeps. Kalshi is offering markets on how many sweeps there will be in the first round of the playoffs, and based on the games we’ve seen so far, we feel comfortable betting on fewer than two sweeps. Heading into Wednesday, only four sweeps are possible. The Lakers-Rockets series is unlikely to be one of them, with Houston a heavy favorite in Game 3. Likewise, the top-seeded Pistons aren’t likely to get swept by Orlando.

Admittedly, the Suns are at risk of getting swept by Oklahoma City. But getting two seeps would still mean Cleveland sweeping Toronto. Granted, the Raptors have been unimpressive and will likely be home underdogs in the next couple of games. However, this is the 4-5 series, so things should balance at some point. Toronto should steal a home win at some point, meaning we won’t see more than one sweep in the first round.
